i dont get the 666 thing...makes no sense to me...

 

666 is NOT the number of the devil, it's actually 616. All over the web

 

Its jsut a another number that people have put of out proportion.

 

To me, the number 666 is of the devil. The number 6 alone, is of man. Some people think 616 but it says "Six hundred threescore and six" Rev. 13:18b KJV so that is enough for me.

the idea of 666 is total rubbish.

i was originated when the christians (who were persecuted by the romans) converted the name of some roman emperor into numbers, the number was 616 (using some numeric system) and over the years, it was changed by people to 666 because it's "cooler"


and i dont believe in the devil, or any other kind of relligious crap.

Pontius Pilate gave the order to kill Jesus, and he was not a Emperor, he was a Prefect over a certain area. And I am assuming you mean Julius Caesar when you refer to "ceasar". He was around 50 years before Jesus was born. 666 (although the Number of the Beast is actually 616) was not his favorite number. In Revelations 13:17-18 it says

666 was definitely not Pontius Pilate's favorite number, or anyone that could relate. You are completely wrong in every way about that, and that is not even close to why the Number of the Beast is 666/616.

666/616 is considered to be a code for the name of a list of people, based on the Greek Numeric System. The reason it was in code was so the Apostles of Jesus could speak out against the Government without being caught. This is the most popular opinion.
