    I do not know what else to add. I have not recovered it and I believe it was never recovered at all due to circumstances that the name was still attached to the account after 3 days of being "recovered".

    I have offered him an refund for the account, I don't need to get blamed for something I have not done.

    - There is no incentive for me to falsely claim the account was recovered.
    - You offered a refund; if I were lying, I would have simply accepted it.
    - The account name is unique, which explains why it was not immediately transferred.
    - A name transfer would incur a ~20% fee via a verified service based on its value.
    - I recovered the account by contacting moderators directly with personal information and information regarding the account only I would know.
    - The likelihood of a random third party recovering a 10-year-old account is effectively zero.
    - You previously stated you had recovered the account yourself in the past.
    - IP address is not decisive for recovery; oldest account information is on legacy accounts.
    - After purchasing the account, I submitted 3 recovery attempts via Jagex using the information you provided. All were declined.
    - You effectively left me to fend for myself, claiming you couldn’t do anything further since you've provided me all the information you knew.
    - Today, Jagex finally responded to the escalation, and you suddenly offer a refund but ask for access to the original email where the reset was received, likely because you were locked out yourself.
    - You also proposed to sell me your Sythe account while there were attempts to change my password prior to the account being recovered.
    - You reassured me nothing will happen, possibly to stall me from transferring my bank.
    - As mentioned, I will defer to Sythe moderators to determine responsibility and resolution. From what I see, you orchestrated a situation where, had you succeeded, you would have had full access to the RS account, its bank, and your Sythe account already sold, leaving me with nowhere to report or any way to contest. It’s almost too neatly planned.


    - Additionally, the account recovery information you provided was largely gibberish. Legacy recovery requires specific details such as country of creation, postal code if the account ever moved, and concrete membership information (including the last four digits of the card used and transaction details). None of this was included in what you provided. When I explicitly asked you for these specific details, you made it clear that you had no idea what they were. As a result, all three recovery attempts I submitted were declined, and the information provided appears to be largely fabricated rather than legitimate.

    - You stated: “Put the name on it and I will refund you in full. If the name is not on it I will not refund in full, which leaves me 50%.”
    - You sold me the account, not the name. I am free to change the account name as I see fit, and you do not get to impose conditions on that after the sale.
    - The fact that you are only willing to refund 100% if I restore the name strongly indicates you recovered the account yourself. Otherwise, the name would be irrelevant to you.
    - This condition directly contradicts your claim that you had no access to, or involvement with, the account after the sale.
    - You repeatedly state that you “won’t be responsible for whatever happens from now on.” That statement is meaningless, as the issue already occurred. At the time it mattered, you offered no meaningful assistance or accountability beyond providing incomplete and unusable information.

    • Screenshots of the emails regarding all of the password change requests you received before the account was hijacked.
    • Screenshots of the emails you received for the 3 denied recovery requests.
    • Screenshot(s) of any communication you received from Jagex when they approved your recovery request.
    • Please also provide proof of your allegation below;

    @Brawls, also correct me if I am wrong but from my understanding;

    You purchased the account on January 14, 2025 and it was delivered to you as a legacy login with an email already registered. Did you secure your own email onto the account or upload it onto a Jagex launcher at any point?

    I never changed the email as he suggested legacy emails are safer. I didn't upgrade to jagex launcher. I was then forced to upgrade since the recovery process required me to do so.

    The screenshot with recovery saying "no jagex account found" was due to AI chat not being able to find any accounts linked to that email, legacy or otherwise, since he recovered it and changed it to a different email entirely.

    I will upload the timestamp you requested.

    We can't determine who sent the password change requests nor who changed the account's details, but since you are in control of the account there is not much else staff can assist with here.

    If you would like to come to a different arrangement privately you are free to do so, given that @Dumby is in agreement as well.
