    Hi,

First and foremost, I would like to say that I believe that you are misusing our forums and opening reports out of spite for having lost such a lump. You are taking it out on others, where you should really be focusing on yourself. This is my personal opinion as a community member.

It's not much of a mystery based on your actions that you have a gambling problem. (win 18b, try to cash-out -> lose 18b in ; all in 7 hours)

Having struggled with addiction in the past myself (different nature), I went out of my way, and told you on a personal level and with only good intentions, that I hope that you take this problem seriously and resolve it. I still do. It saddens me that you try to use this against me now.

You might want to mention the context behind the "hush-hush money"-quote. You wanted 10b from RuneStake (almost half of what you gambled away), and I advised you that they would never comply to that. Mainly because:
    1. You had no claim on them (as you had lost everything), so everything they would give you was on their voluntary basis
    2. Therefore, the only thing you had on them (not any longer), was the report that was pending. This was your only position of leverage and, therefore, anything you'd ask from them was indeed considered 'hush-hush money', instead of a 'compensatory claim', which, again, you have no right to
There's not much more complexity to that than that. They could say yes to such a request, they could say no. In the end, you are a customer who felt treated unfairly, and some companies offer such remedies.

This was me following our protocols.

As I told you already, you do not get to decide on what questions need to be answered. You are not the arbiter. We are. You are free to ask RuneStake any questions you want, but the arbiter of the report ultimate decides which questions need answering. I questioned RuneStake, and I questioned other parties. I got the answers to all the questions that I found were relevant.

Thank you and have a nice day

I will only be answering questions that the Staff member at matter asks me to answer. This is how it works here, friend. You can't be the arbiter of the reports that you start.

I'm going to just merge everything so it's all in one place.

After looking things over I'm not going to change the ruling, but I will give a stern warning.

@Runestake if you're having liquidity issues customers need to be informed, especially since being unable to promptly cash users out can be construed as predatory practices, as it can prevent users from making responsible choices with their funds. It's also worth noting that simply pay-walling this accessibility behind a "premium cashout" option will not suffice either.

If another instance of this occurs then a TWC will be issued at minimum.

It is also worth noting that the person reported here received multiple warnings before they were eventually TWC'd.

We didn't really get a chance to make a public reply to the thread so I would like this merged onto the report for public reference.

To the Runestake and Sythe communities, we’d like to address a few things in this report:

Onekiss purchased 1,800 tokens (via Cryptocurrency) and was able to withdraw over 10,000 tokens in the period of his play (15B+ OSRS). He had an issue while attempting to withdraw a further 20B in one trade at the end of his session. This report has been interpreted that he was unable to withdraw, which is untrue.

    “Runestake has liquidity issues”

    Response:
This is untrue. Runestake does over 100B+ in OSRS withdrawals per day and processes several trillions of gold monthly. The user was unable to collect 20B in one trade. We can confidently guarantee that it would have been successfully filled had they tried to withdraw it in four or five trades. The user refused to do this. Onekiss

“RuneStake was hindered by slow pay-outs and bad communication surrounding this not so long ago.”

    Response:
This is not from a report on Runestake. This is from a report on another user 11 months before Runestake launched.

“I’m sure the only reason I’m waiting is because they are going to buy the gold, so why not just buy the tokens from me”

    Response:
Runestake is an online arcade, not a licensed casino. Only licensed casinos may legally process real money withdrawals.

“It's also worth noting that simply pay-walling this accessibility behind a ‘premium cashout’ option will not suffice either.”

We added a P2P system where users can choose trader, neutral, or urgent trade methods. No user is required to use the urgent method, but it makes for a nice P2P system. Our cashier team will fill all neutral orders as fast as possible.

We have a 24/7 team working to fill trades. We will update our internal policies so that our team can be more transparent to users of what is actually happening behind the scenes.

Unfortunately, it is not the same game as it was four months ago, where we could hold 100B+ at all times. Many of you will recall that we had instant withdrawals to that magnitude not too long ago. We have had to adjust to the changing situation as best as possible.

All we can do is adapt to market conditions and continue to innovate to provide the best user experience possible, and we are dedicated to doing that. In fact, based on user feedback, we have further improvements coming that will allow for unlimited amounts of gold on demand. This feedback has been highly appreciated and backs up our thoughts that something better is needed. We will be prioritizing our team's resources to get this system out to the public as soon as possible.

Runestake Public Response - Merge With OneKiss Report

I was more or less happy with Andy's ruling expecting runestake to change how they operate

But since your technically reopening the report, answering some questions, why are you still not answering the important ones

You explained the legality of cashing out crypto, Adam (runestake former owner I believe) has done this in the past with with me and friends instead of cashing out gp, actually at the same time this problem occured due to him wanting to go to sleep and not being able to find gp, what's changed between now and the beginning of this year?

And, do you have any response to chloe not looking for gp until her shift ended? Or chloe avoiding to buy gp off me on discord to reuse for cashouts on discord? Surely you can admit this is bad trading practices which looking from the outside in, could be seen as intent to scam or avoid a customer (bad trading practices)

I appreciate the public response but you obviously only did this because your not happy with the new ruling @Runestake

Unless there is something demonstrably new to add this ruling stands.
