Proof that it's their Discord: will dm a staff with necessary screens.
Explanation of the trade: I sold 1b rs3 to Fyndel for 67$ ( I went first).
How they scammed:
I sold 1b rs3 to gosu/fyndel for 67ish usd (btc) 4 days back,
I gave him the gp ingame and he asked me if i have coinbase, i said yes but i dont prefer coinbase since i will have to pay more fee when converting it to my irl money(as btc is banned in my country).
Since im not used to those ledger and stuff he said he paid me to my normal btc address and it ended up being unconfirmed for 4 solid days whereas i never expereienced this,
Usually i receive them in less than a hour, have done like 100+ trades (was the first time with gosu tho).
Whoever sends me btc will show up on blockchain explorer but this txn never showed up and it popped up on blockstream on something which is new to me.
Before paying he said it will take a while later when i asked him he asked a while = days according to him..
I dmed blackglasses regarding this and he was unsure about blockstream and confirmed that it dint show up on blockchain explorer.
He told me to dm him after 72 hrs if it still remains pending or unconfirmed.
And yes its been more than 80 hours now and i tried dming him but dint hear back anything from him yet.

1. Since the amount was low, I asked if $1 fee was fine which he said yes to. So I decided to buy and send with low fee.

If you need more details lmk. But what can I do when the customer agreed to low fee and the transaction is stuck. It wouldn't make sense for me to buy something with high fee as the cost /m would be too high for a profit.

 

Well, the transaction dint show up on blockchain explorer in his address or mine .

 

Are those screens even legit?? Discord says 17/02 and your ledger says 20th feb

 

Ledger automatically resends transactions that didn't confirm in 72 hours (exactly 3 days).

@Superfluous as the transaction has not appeared in blockchain explorer (doesnt matter if it is a ledger txn) , as @video said something went wrong on @Fyndel 's end Also i have dmed you on discord

If there is a way to boost the fee to get the tx to confirm you may want to look into that. It seems like BL is willing to pay the amount of the fee increase in gold to Fyndel to accelerate the process.

Refusing? So after trying to figure out how to boost the fee to accelerate the transaction, he has the audacity to question if I’m really trying and proceeds with some bs. If mods got a different opinion on the matter lmk.

As im not very professional with btc and fee structure, i certainly insist a twc on @Fyndel for his poor trading practice, If the fee gonna matter and take 7 days , he must have told me before i trade him the gp assuming he must be professional as he is doing business with this.

 

There's nothing suspicious going on here. You two agreed to a deal beforehand, and now the mempool is backed up (though it looks to be clearing out a bit).

Is it a bummer that this happened? Yes. Is Fyndel a risk to the community? No.

I am not sure as my ledger transactions log show it being resent again (ledger automatically sends transactions that haven't confirmed). The link for me show transaction not found. I am find with sending again to @Baby Lasaagne just let me know what fee you want me to send with as I will deduct it from what I owe (minus the $1 fee I promised to cover). If the original does confirm I'll just ask for it back.

 

Sounds good. @Baby Lasaagne mentioned he would accept coinbase if that's something you want to send. If not, your arrangement sounds good too.
