Why is there all these battles? -_-

Seeing as you're so keen to correct me, I thought I'd take the liberty of correcting your assortment of errors.

Probability*.

Sense*.

Spelling errors are nothing compared to gramatical errors. Just my opinion.

And unless I'm taking things 'too literally' again, I'd like to point out that that's quite the exaggeration.

Minuscule*.

min·is·cule (mn-skyl)
adj.
Variant of minuscule.

Dismanted*

Not a real word.

Criticize* (criticise for me, but I can spell in both).

Yup. Finger hit the wrong button. There goes my whole argument.

Of course we use the phrase, and of course I understood it. Do you think I'm lacking all mental vitality, or something?

That is what it looked like.

Statements which make sense literally are usually the best ones. Where I may be floral with my choice of wording, what I say always makes literal sense.

I think I have already shown that I am able to speak eloquently, and that is your choice if you want all of your statements to make sense literally. But I don't want this to be a competition to see who is the best speller, I want to see who has the most wit and creativity in their arguments. I don't know about you but at the moment I think we are about equal, since no one has given up or made a complete ass of themselves.

Well done - you certainly are pretentious. It doesn't have to be a bad thing, either, so there's no need to be so defiant.

So you basically complimented me. Thanks, I guess lol.

I'm rude? Yes, I am. But very warm to people who have got to know me, and who I like.

Why are you rude. It is not really a good trait to have. But yet again this is the internet.

Like I stated earlier, it doesn't have to be a bad thing, either.

I don't see how it can't be a bad thing.

I beg to differ from the norm and using insults such as ''fuk off u gay noob'', and if you blame me for doing so, you must be really rather dull. Whether my insults are correct in terms of context, it doesn't matter. They aim to insult, not teach. If I wish to be flamboyant with my choice of words, I will be so. Thank-you for your concern.

Ok, "fuk off u gay noob" is way down there. Many adjectives + noun = not dull? You use this over and over again. Not much room for creativity, but a lot of room to show off your vast vocabulary. Yet again you are entitled to your own insults.

I certainly did not flame you. If I flamed you, report me for doing so.
When on Earth did I state that it is 'ok to dismiss the probability that someone on here is black with four moles on their cheek'?

Over exaggerated.

How is it possible to not assume over the internet?

Suggest someone appears on forum. You do not assume the person is black, with 4 moles on his left cheek.

'Sanctimonious' doesn't solely mean 'hypocritical.' In fact, that's quite a poor definition of the word. I recommend you check more than one source, if you were looking it up.

Out of my Oxford: Sanctimonious: Synonyms: hypocritical, self-righteous, canting, pharisaical, etc.

Take it as a bid to patronize. It insults some, particularly if they understood it..

Yeah in America we tend to one or two word insults such as bitch, shit, fuck, nigga, mothafucka, so I don't hear "little, sanctimonious maestro" that often, you nefarious little turd monkey. :D

Finally, I'd like to hope you appreciate how long it took to do this, especially while having Desperate Housewives as my priority!

Yes it took me half an hour to write this, but at least I am practicing my argumentative skills at the same time lol.

I'm lead to believe it is a non-aggressive 'battle'.

I must wait for confirmation before claiming this, though.

Aggressive battles are for those who can't present coherent arguments. :)

Merely to determine who is the 'King of the Ring.'

Honestly, I think it is going to be a tie. If there was a winner, shakaka, 5w33t p00per or someone would have already posted a big "/FAIL" or "/WIN" by now. And I doubt anyone will even take the time to read these horrificly long posts to determine who the winner is, lol.

King of the internets :O

Ignore me for not quoting, but it does take rather a long time.

Firstly, the 'dismanted' correction was a typo. I meant 'dismantled'.

Secondly, spelling mistakes are grammatical errors.

Thirdly, 'sanctimonious' takes predominant use as an insulting word - as you said- self-righteous. Or rather, it does in Britain, and on British soaps. ('You sanctimonious little cow!)

Fourthly, 'nefarious' has been used too many times. It is obsolete. I am constantly replenishing my collection of favorite words.

I think the following sounds better:
'take your filthy, acidic, virulent hands away from your keyboard, you menacing sludgeball.'

Fifthly, rudeness makes my life ever so more interesting. Being nice to people constantly does become slightly tedious. Have you ever tried it?

Yes, it does.

Secondly, spelling mistakes are grammatical errors.

No, grammar is the framework on how to construct sentences, it has a little to do with spelling but it is more about the rules governing the use of a language.

Thirdly, 'sanctimonious' takes predominant use as an insulting word - as you said- self-righteous. Or rather, it does in Britain, and on British soaps. ('You sanctimonious little cow!)

Cultural differences :/

Fourthly, 'nefarious' has been used too many times. It is obsolete. I am constantly replenishing my collection of favorite words.

First time I ever used that word. Nefarious is nowhere close to being as overused as "fuck" or "shit." You probably use it frequently, but not many people are like you.

I think the following sounds better:
'take your filthy, acidic, virulent hands away from your keyboard, you menacing sludgeball.'

Lol funny.

Fifthly, rudeness makes my life ever so more interesting. Being nice to people constantly does become slightly tedious. Have you ever tried it?

I like being nice to people, then they are nice to me back and everyone is happy. But if they are rude to me then I am going to be rude to them.

Finn - win.

'Nefarious' has been overused in people's impersonations of me.

Since I do not know you that well, I wouldn't know how and with what words people impersonate you.

Well, I guess it ends right here. Nothing more to argue about. Good fight. I would say it is a tie, but obviously I have a lower post count and no ranks. Plus people know you more and some of the new people lick your ass to gain respect. But I am not like that, I get to know people normally and try to be an equal with them. Good battle.
