There are still other clients you can use, but it seems they have a method to detect other methods because no one seems safe. :/

Waiting for my accounts to get unbanned in a few days then ill be trying out AHK and other methods. I know OpenOSRS is working on making their client undetectable, and others are working on importing openosrs plugins into RuneLite.

I really like that Jagex has forced everyone to get more creative.

 

The patch is actually quite simple if you want to make your client look like an "approved client". If you take the gamepack for instance there is no changes that were added to identify what client your on. However when they released this whole "approved client" news they gave each of the clients up top a snippet to add to the platform information being sent to to jagex. Jagex has always been sending the platform information (javaVenderType,JavaVersion,maxMemory) but just recently they changed a value that has always been 0 in the "approved clients". Mimic the value that they changed and wala. Your client is now an "approved client".

 

Waiting until OpenRS releases an official update before botting again. Apparently, you can use a client called UnethicalLite, but im not using it until I see if people get banned from it in the next few weeks.

 

So apparently people are using a client called UnethicaLite. They have a stable version and experimental. People are getting banned using the experimental one, but many are using the stable version without getting banned.

I'm going to start experimenting with clients in 7 days

So, OpenOSRS has been offline since 7/13/22, no announcements since then.

Many people have switched to using Unethical Lite but people are getting detected and banned simply for logging into OSRS with Unethical Lite.

An experimental version was launched yesterday on Unethical Lite.

Safest bet is to wait at least a month after these releases and see if others are getting banned. Unethical Lite seemed safe for a few weeks but now people are getting banned.

 

Nah, they fully fixed their system with using 3rd party clients. Jamflex stepping up their anti-cheating. Don't trust no clients/ppl claiming they have ways around of being undetected. Especially random's that claim they know how to compile scripts into a client. you'll be caught. best bet is to just learn the game or pay for PvM services.

Like I said in the DM, the owner of the discord seems like a dickhead to me with scammer vibes, but so far I haven't seen anyone have accounts stolen, use at your own risk.

 

In the mean time, the rest of us over at WaspScripts are still coasting along effortlessly. It's a shame that more people aren't able to find the powerful tools that have been there all along.

Anywho, it was only a matter of time right? Surely developers didn't think they could continue to utilize 3rd party clients forever without consequence. However it is interesting to see the amount of attention that AHK is getting these days. Extremely primitive compared to Simba but hey, they're trying.
