Explanation of the trade: Bought an OSRS account from him.
Amount scammed: $100
How they scammed: DID NOTHING WRONG, Cherub sold me an account a while back without TOS and the account has been recovered by the original owner after I had sold the account to @LCEsales. LCE resold the account and that is when it was recovered, I did not give any TOS to LCE and will refund as soon as I get funds, though shouldn't Cherub have to refund me since I did not receive a TOS?

No there wasn't. Although what is the ruling on account resales and responsibility?

I feel that Sodah probably just took the easy route and and said he will pay when he can, as he knows i'd be in the same situation and I will simply pay in place of him if I am strong-armed into it.

I was under the assumption that my responsibility would be voided since the account got resold by whom I sold it to.

 

That's fine.
I just feel you should add in a rule about resales because its currently just a domino system where an accounts responsibility will fall back to the first and oldest seller, who will take on all the risk without knowing that the account is being resold over and over again.

I personally have bought and resold multiple accounts from people and never would have thought to default my responsibility to theirs simply because they never explicitly had a resale TOS.

 

I received £70.15 for the account on the 25th of Jan 2020.



My preference would be to simply refund this payment via paypal to @Sodah as otherwise i'd be open to a chargeback risk. But since he has debt this makes it more complicated. @Andy ?
