That's not the correct Discord.
Screenshot - 952a8b028ca344c67c95ba737c291ba2 - Gyazo this is all lowercase, his real Discord as you linked yourself here: Screenshot - 4280de6f67e1ac26149c31e6bda4021e - Gyazo is all capitals.

Discord names are case-sensitive.

As of late i'm being targeted by impostors. As per @Gladiator's request, i've updated my active threads.
My discord and unique ID can be seen in various locations on my profile/signature/threads already.

I do my best to stop any scams happening, but that can be undermined by people not following basic safety precautions like requesting a proper confirmation PM.

Sorry for your loss, it seems you were impostor scammed. Please go through the following to ensure it doesn't happen again:

1.) ALWAYS request a sythe PM before every trade to make sure you're talking to the correct person. You unfortunately didn't request this. A correct PM should look like this: https://i.imgur.com/hhosthY.png
2.) Discord Impostors almost always have nitro, which allows them to change their Discord Discrims (#) to copy those of legitimate users.
3.) You did not check to verify the Discord UID(Unique ID). Go into Discord settings > turn developer mode ON, right click and copy ID. Explained in this guide here: Discord PM Template
