Selling a Player Moderator account.

How hard/successful would it be for one to do this?
What do you think the best way to go about doing this would be?
Also how much value would it put on the account?
(Near max main for example)

 

I never see these accounts hit the market (I rarely see them in game either). Pmod accounts are apparently closely monitored by Jagex, and it doesn't take much to lose mod status. I would imagine having mod would add $300-$500 to the value of the account no matter what other levels it has.

 

Yeah but I would just think like it would be a different ip how would they know you just haven't moved to another country

 

This would be ideal for my antilure videos for various unused methods I have, but buying accounts is a disaster/cancer

 

i think a pmod account is montired so if ip changes over seas it will flag

Player mods also use Sythe market I had 2 or 3 who bought fire capes from me so I wouldnt say its inpossible to buy account like that
None of them got banned or demoted afaik
Price wise - someone would have to be extreme idiot to sell nearly maxed main pmod account under $2000

 

As a monetary comparison I just purchased a maxed account for 2200 usd, with mod status I would say 3k unless you get a rough geographical location of the owners ip

 

Someone had an account that was near maxed (pre osrs days), I think they gave it pmod status after he bought the account. Either way, multiple IPs accessed it and he never got banned or lost pmod. One of those IPs being from a worker of a prominent Chinese seller at the time and mine that was on the other side of the world. I doubt things have changed since, especially with Zuzel's comments.

 

That'll be a great purchase, especially for those gold site owners. It'll add a substancial amount of value to the account, especially if the seller has been around for a while.

I sold a PMOD a single digit rsn last year. So they defintely use the market. The user in question owned 5 Pmod accounts at the time.

 

I imagine it would be harder. These accounts are monitored more closely than the typical runescape account.

I've been here a really long time. I've seen multiple PMOD accounts come and go. They arnt as rare as people think but they definitely arnt common. @Crystal
