    As the pictures show he says clear as day he will take responsibility charges if he moves the name himself, i screenshotted everything (besides me giving him my account info because didnt want that in the open )

    I am posting here even though this isn't about me because I already experienced such situation.

    You state

    If you are talking about this^, he simply says he has transferred names before and could do this one as well.

    Now onto the case, if you would have read is TOS, it is clearly stated that he can't be responsible for snipes.

    You might say that we're in march and that said "scam" occured in december, but I'm 100% sure his trading terms were the same back then.

    Now, I believe this situation was reviewed by Chloe when it happened and she said a name recovery was essential here. If you have tried any, I highly suggest you post proof of that because this was the key of Nate's payment. If the recovery was successful, everything vanishes but if you failed to recover the name, I believe Nate had to pay the original price of the trade.

    Now this is where I don't agree. I don't think Nate should be paying the full price when it is clearly stated in his Trading Terms that he will not be responsible for any snipes during the transfer. I also tried to buy a name recently and unfortunately it didn't end up on my account as it was sniped during the transfer. It is unfortunate yes, I reminded my customer to read my TOS before trading, the seller was affected by this but it's the risk of the RuneScape names sale business.

    I personally believe that if there is any confusion in a name sale trade, here being Nate forgetting to remind the customer that he can't be responsible for snipes during the transfer, the 50/50 rule should apply. So Nate would have to pay 17.5m 07 in this case.

    Just my 2 cents, feel free to delete, thought it would fit here even though this doesn't concern me.

    Nate should have prompted both parties to formally agree on who takes responsibility for snipes, seeing how often they occur. He's experienced enough to know this imo.

    Here in this screenshot he said he wouldn't be taking responsibility if the trade was done the way he wanted it to go, implying that he was currently taking responsibility for the name being sniped, and I let him login to my account and move it himself so there for he technically did say he would take snipe responsibility if he got to move it.
