30 def turmoil vs turmoil zerker

I currently have an account which is 1 on all combat skills and has 90 prayer

I'm looking into making a turmoil pure but debating between 30def and 45def

I'm new to pking/pures I know you have to quest def but do you also quest attack also?

Any help would be much appreciated

• You will have a lower combat level
• You can always get more in the future
• Not as much defence against hits

45 Defence:

• Will have more defence against attacks
• Can wear higher level armour
• Once you have 45, there's no going back
• Will have a higher combat level

These are just a few pros and cons (I merged them together for each level).

Why not go 30 and see how you like it? You might as well and if you do want 45 then you've already done a lot of quests and are over half way there!

I would go for 30 first, then if you don't like it, go to 40, not 45. 45 Defence doesn't bring that many more advantages over 40 Defence. With 40 Defence you can still have Vengeance, rune armour, torso etc, the only thing you will be missing are the fremmenik helmets for as far as I know. Besides that you can always level up defence more if any new quests come out which give Defence exp when you are still at 40.

You do as many quests for attack XP as possible, THEN train attack using only zeals. E.g. train strength or something at Soul Wars, but use the zeals on your Attack. As for quests - http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Quest_experience_rewards.

Yeah that would be ''advisable''. Just don't skip milestones, if you do you might just miss a setup that you would really like. As for the Attack quests, just do all of them unless they grant unwanted exp, i.e. Defence exp.

I was going to make a level 15 combat with Prayer cape then got a sudden urge to pk

I like being an Addy Daddy, it's fun. 45 Def, you're stuck facing mains, not as fun.

Turmoil Zerks are #1 in my opinion, they're really really good.

40 def with 60 attack is most fun.

I'm 42 def with 80 attack and there's simply just too many mains my level. 60 attack is a lot more fun.

Oh and btw you don't need to train attack with zeals like that guy said.

Its not really going to be 30Def exactly its going to be 33def or so...just stay as low as you can if you dont want to fight higher levels in PVP

pking wise it boils down to who is the best bridder imho.



I.E 30 def vs 45 def

now 30 v 30 and 45 v 45 its pretty much the same 45 just opens more combat gear options.
