    Help me pick a car

    Hi,

Going to keep it short and sweet; if anyone happens to be able to suggest a car for me that would be great :)

    - Preferably an EU car
    - Anywhere between 8~20k is fine
    - Medium sized at the least would be sick (no fiat panda's lol)

Where do you live, or what will the car be used for?

Honestly, either get a Nissan Altima or a Toyota Camry those cars can handle so much their repairs are cheap and they never break. Those would be a good option if your looking for just transportation.

Most of the Japanese cars have a good track record for longevity. I bought an 03 Toyota Corolla 4 years ago and have spent less than $1000 on repairs. If you take a look at some auto trading websites you'll find a lot of corollas/camrys/honda civics with greater than 400k km on them. Goes to show they're built to last.

Honda accord, ford fusion, toyota corolla. All reliable cars geared towards the working class. You might be able to find a used 3 series bmw at the top of your budget with only 30-50k miles. That is a very good car.

Honda accord, might not be in your budget (not sure how the prices for cars vary in holland) but it's definitely a budget car.

Don't expect to get over 150k in a BMW you will have to start fixing it at around 90k miles which is when most problems start to happen. My dad bought a 550i new from factory and at 80k miles it was already having problems which cost thousands to fix. There expensive to maintaine.

If you buy a BMW you should be ready to pay high maintenance costs. But yeah it's ridiculous

Keep it? He just said it's having many problems thus he put so much in repairs.
He's looking for a reliable car at a good price.
