Abortion of fetuses in their later stages saddens me greatly, but as has been demonstrated, it is the woman's right to do with her own body as she wishes.
Not all women suffers psychological/emotional trauma after a succeeded abortion.I do not see why it would sadden the fetus. They are not yet able to speak their mind.
It saddens me, the pain that a woman goes through is very unfortunate, but nothing can be done.

I'm sure you all know what it is.
My question to you: Should it be legal?
Discuss, etc.
TDD said:I believe it should be legalized to an extent, it should be legal to have a doctor abort the pregnancy until an age where the child could survive on its own outside of the womb, because by that time it should be obvious if the mother wishes to keep the child or not.
Rycui said:it's legal in most of european countries. In my opinion girls should do only abort if they have get pregnant for accident and tehy can't raise the child or if they have been raped etc.
Hey, a question to a lot of the people in this thread:
Even if abortion is killing a baby, why is that necessarily a bad thing? You can call it murder or whatever you want, but I'm curious to see how you explain your reasoning.
I certainly do not believe in unalienable rights, nor in the intrinsic value of life. I have no qualms with killing the baby for the simple reason that it isn't causing any harm (except to the baby, but its dead so it can't care). However, it does have very clear benefits for those around it (who are actually alive and whose opinions matter).I'm curious on how you justify the killing of a human? Do you not believe in unalienable rights? The rights of every human being to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Upon that premise I would find killing a human a denial of one of those 3 essential rights.
Now, if you find no value in those rights nor in the value of life, then I've no reason to argue "the point of life" with you as its a redundant and philosophical argument at best. If you don't value life, then that is your own cup of tea, but surely not mine.
Is that satisfactory reasoning for you?
I completely agree. The only way a woman should be allowed to get an abortion is if she's a victim of rape.
