I would rather use Mac OSX than any operating system by Microsoft (except for Windows 2k)

Oh well guess its not for you. Its a lot smoother with my games like halo pc/ce, FEAR, Rainbow 6, and all my other ones

 

The only problem with gaming on Vista is you don't get too much of your RAM capability. But I guess you could turn the Aero feature off.

It aint worth the price tag IMO, I mean £185 that's just fucking ridicolous. If it was £50 maybe but other then that I'm not too bothered about my desktop looking nice or some kind voice activation thing for programs.

It's also RAM hungry, I mean really ram hungry min of 512mb to run it, the most ram you can get is 4gb and my laptop is running 512mb. When I'm older I'll get an alienware computer, they own.

 

well i took took everything off my computer because of a virus, but I had windows xp pro. When i reinstalled windows I put Vista on it. But my gaming with the games i said above is great. looks better than the x box 360 and ps3 combined for me. I just got oblivion and that game is fun as hell.

lmao the guy that said halo runs well well of couse mircosoft made it. I have to agree some games lag, but not all. I am a huge pc gamer I have over 230 games installed. So far every game has worked besides

Counter Strike Lags Like Hell
Battlefield 2 Randomly Crashes
World Of Warcraft gets lagged in popular stops EX: Thousand Needles, Wastelands or citys. Other then that its fine and DONT GAME ON VISTA if your worried. If you want vista but are worried bou games not workin do dual boot.
