Patriots coming for another ring

 

No doubt. They are crazy loaded again.

 

Tom brady hasn't lost a stride even with his age becoming questionable.

Think about the team they won with this past season... imagine what this season holds.

 

The dude treats his body like a temple. He's like LeBron James. If you take care of your body and breathe their sport, you can last awhile.

Nah Atlanta Falcons revenge year. I don't like Atlanta, but I felt so bad for them to lose like that, so I'm going to hope they bounce back this year.

 

Did ATL retain most of their guys who were looking at contract extensions?

 

I'm not sure on Atlanta, they're notorious for following up really good seasons with really shitty ones after.

 

That happens a lot in the NFL, but I mean the season is 16 games long, and a few plays could alter the game severely; which is why it never seems like we have the same team competing for a Superbowl every year. The only super consistent team has been the Patriots, but that's about it.

 

Definitely true. Just worrisome because the Falcons seem to do it a lot. I remember last years thread I correctly predicted the Panthers terrible season which few saw coming. I have a similar feeling about the Falcons.

Conversely, I expect the Panthers to bounce back.

 

Yeah I definitely see Cam Newton having a breakout season again.

 

Real problem for the Falcons is the NFC is so stacked. There are so many obstacles. It's really hard to maintain that level. That's why their loss was so devastating. Getting through that same NFC Gauntlet is very very difficult. And teams like the Panthers are going to be back. While the lower tier teams are not even close to being free wins either. Teams like Tampa Bay, Philly, etc are always difficult even if their records don't indicate it.

I'll be shocked if the Falcons get back to the SB tbh.

 

Giants are also looking scary with that receiving corps.
