He doesn't admit when he's wrong lol. I remember his guarantees OKC would beat the Spurs last year when I said it wasn't going to come close to happening.

After OKC got their ass kicked he wouldn't acknowledge what I said, lol.

I remember when the knicks had a great start two years ago. Since I'm from New York, I was boasting everywhere I could, making bets, etc. I ended up losing nearly $200 in bets as the knicks started to slump nearing mid season. That's why I'm more cautious at the beginning. Same thing can be said with the cowboys.

I do acknowledge the fact that Cleveland's bench is horrid, and that's how the Raptors, and Wizards clawed their way back from large deficits, or extend their lead gap. Adjustments will be made to combat this issue. It's the waiting game now, pretty much.

 

Yeah I agree, so are you just a Lebron fan in general then or what? Or just a general basketball fan (I'd go under that category myself). I know I've been harsh on Lebron before but I really don't mind him. He's really the only thing that makes the NBA nowadays interesting to me. Seeing him battle the Spurs is about the only interest I find as of right now.

The Lakers & Celtics Finals were really enjoyable. Heat-Mavs was good.

I feel like the Cavs will right the ship, I'm really hoping Ray Allen signs on and stops waffling between retirement and coming back.

 

I would say I follow the game of basketball. I have no favorite team or player. Whenever you watch a game of two teams you're not really fond of, you still root for one team over the other. It's like that for me with every team. I will root for cavs to beat spurs, and lakers to beat cavs. Lebron is the face of the NBA which is understandable, but not acceptable by a lot of people which produces unnecessary hate. He's one of the most humbled players ever to play at his status.

Yeah the cavs need ray allen. I don't think he will come because of the pressure the media and lebron sets on him. Not to mention the hate he will get for following lebron. The cavs just need a more confident, and defensive bench.

To this day I still stand behind myself on the fact that a healthy OKC would have beaten Spurs Ibaka was out for two or three games don't remember... He's there best two way player in my opinion by far the best defender if he was solid from the start OKC would have won the series.


Last year the only challenge for the Spurs was Dallas once they got through them it was easy riding... They played an inexperienced Portland then a crippled OKC and Heat because Wade's knee's were crap on top of that I'm led to believe Lebron was looking for a reason to leave Miami so he can go back to Ohio.

I highly doubt Spurs will take another trip to the finals in fact i'm willing to put money on it.. With the way Dallas, GS, Grizz, Portland are playing I see it really difficult for the Spurs to keep up with the pace those teams play at now especially since they got continuity now. But who knows maybe Spurs will get lucky again and some of the Stars in the West might get injured come playoff time Papa sits his vets because he knows there fragile and there okay with there limited mins and stat sheets going down. The Spurs play textbook basket-ball they just dominate the game and bravo for them but this year it looks like it's going to take more then just that at least in the West it will.

But the fact that you people don't acknowledge that the Raptors are the best team in the East as of now is disgraceful...

The Raptors have a ridiculous point differential of 12.2 meaning on average they are outscoring there opponents by double digits. that's elite and only two other teams are putting those numbers up respectfully Dallas and Golden State.

It is early in the season lot's of stuff could happen Rose could become an MVP caliber player again (LOL). Jimmy Butler could become one of the best two players in the league I mean he's showing it now... The Bulls I respectfully fear because they got chemistry and a good coach.

The only thing to even fear about the Cav's is Lebron he could have one of his 40+ point nights and carry his team but in no way do I see this Cav's team as contenders. Also people need to stop comparing the big three of the Heat to the big three of the Cav's. The Heat had seasoned vets on there team Lebron's role was different Wade and Bosh were not as young as Love and Iriving are and the Heat bench was far more productive then Cav's. I'm to lazy to check but I'm going to go ahead and guess the Heat were a playoff team before the big three bull shit even happened.

Dion Waiters "Me and Irving are the best back court in the NBA" LOOOL Curry and Thompson make these two look like shit they are the best by far. John Wall is a better Pg then Irving so is Kyle Lowry. Dion Waiters should not even be compared to the likes of Thompson, Beal, or Derozan is Waiters even a starter?


So before the season began some "experts" were saying Cav's would have a 60 win season in no way is that happening anymore they would be lucky to break the 50 win barrier at this point. Not sure exactly when All-star break is I think it's Feb the Cav's are going to have to win a lot I mean like a shit ton and well with the inconsistency of this team and it's lack of fire power while Lebron rests plus the rookie coach who's suppose to be a offensive genius I do not see the Cav's making the ECF. Maybe something magical will happen and there bench will kill it. Maybe even Irving and Love will dominate the post season even though they have never played a playoff game in there career's (Lol).

I don't know all I look at is what's in front of me and right now the Raptors are playing a high level of Basket-ball the best the in a insignificant East they are the only East team that's undefeated against the West... Raptors out to make a name for themselves without a super star.

But with all that said there is a conspiracy theory where the Raptors will never win more then two playoff series because the refs I personally don't believe in that I go with believing if you try hard enough you can accomplish anything but something i'll keep a look out for come April.

The NBA however does have some of the most shady officials in any sport.
