I'm wondering if fansites like runehq tipit ect are going to bring back the quest guides for the 2007 version of the game. Also how do you think prices are going to be established? Just by what people are willing to pay or what?

Yea but eventually there becomes a rough price but with such little gp in the market I think we are just going to see a lot of people trading items for items.

Of course, just like back in the day. No one's going to pay 5k for lobsters. There'll be set guidelines for prices but they'd be unofficial and fluctuate. Communities such as tip.it and Sal's may give guidelines again. It'll be a free market and street price would be real price. Finally, upgrading barrows, having trouble finding specific items, it'll all be there. It'll be much more like a real community.

It'll take some time to get used to if you've never experienced it before because it makes the game harder. There's no denying that. But with that, you get a true sense of worth when you succeed in it.

I made 2 account of mine members and used garys autotyper for 12 hours a day with 6 hours on one, 6 on the other then repeat for a day advertising to vote xD

Anyways we will hit 250k for sure, i just hope we hit 500k at least so i dont have to pay something like 11$ a month, sux how there wont be the ge in rs 2007 tho :/ man was it ever useful

Also what will happen to stats in rs2007, will your account have stats of when it was form 2007 or current stats or what???

For the early access launch on Friday we intend to have the Homepage, World Select page and Hiscores all ready to go. We may look to add additional sections to the site dependant on the final vote total. The page will look exactly as you remember in 2007 (apart from fixing navigation issues) and will be accessible from the main RuneScape homepage and on a separate Old School micro-site.

So I mean I feel like this will be amazing but I don know how many others will enjoy having th eoriginal site to.

@Grim Reaper yeah we have to start from scratch, because it wouldnt be fair to everyone who wasnt around for you just have a max oldschool account its an even playing field and that pisses alot of people off lol.

As mentioned in the above posts, a big enough vote (500k+) will get you a team capable of making genuine game updates, which could include holiday events.

Yes, your display name is for your RuneScape account, not character, and will therefore be the same across both the old and current versions of the game.

Aasim Cool asks: - is it possible to add GWD?

Oddly enough, the God Wars Dungeon was originally released in August 2007, only 2 weeks after the version of the game we are launching. However, we don’t have any backups for the content we were working on that wasn’t part of the live game, so if we did want to make the GWD for 2007 servers, we would have to start from scratch. That’s at least a few thousand hours of work if you add together graphics, testing, coding etc.
