Bitcoin wallet

So im just now considering getting into Bitcoin and was wondering which wallet would be the best to use? I know very little about them and any input would probably help greatly. Thanks

 

I personally use "Blockchain", it's just a wallet (not an exchange), fairly simple and straight forward, give it a go!

I use blockchain to spend, and Mycelium on my android as my cold storage wallet when I was holding a few thousand as an investment. Mycelium is basically an app on my mobile and that's the only way you can access that wallet (and the recovery code they give you) and send money. Obviously you can put a password for each private key.

Also don't forget to 2fa your blockchain wallet if you choose to use that. If you're new and don't plan to put in a lot, just use blockchain.

 

I use a combination of blockchain.info, electrum client, and cold storage.

For people who posted your wallets, can you explain why?

 

I personally use Electrum. I find it great because you don't have to use the same adress and can split the money to different adresses. Aswell as putting notes on your transactions. Simply does what you need amazingly

 

Iphone bitcoin wallet, Circle.

 

Coinbase does what it needs to for me.

Ended up using blockchain, its gone great and im now getting into bitcoin mining

 

Honestly, don't bother, unless you have free power and a 5000 USD server to make a decent amount, it's not worth it.

From what I've seen you need a heck load of computer power, or dedicated computers to do this effectively. Wallets which allow multiple addresses are the ones I'd go for. P.s not sure if they all do.

 

Yeah plus one to the block chain gang, though it is no biggie what one you use least blockchain is simple..

 

i use blockchain, but then i'm using coinbase because you can easily sell bitcoins to your bank and buy bitcoins too

I've been using bitcoin for a number of years now, and the most convenient wallet is Blockchain although I have a localbitcoin account which I use for day in and day out trading.
So what I'm saying is that it all depends on the sole purpose of your bitcoin wallet, to trade or for personal use.

 

Coinbase has gotten friends banned before.
I used to use blockchain though, and Circle I hear is pretty good.
