Bitcoin confirms

I'm aware I've posted this elsewhere but I am worried about it as a hefty percentage of my money is in this wallet, and I would like to resolve it ASAP (I'm not the type of person to worry lol)

Hi everyone

I've been using bitcoin for a year and a bit now, and never had any problems with it until now.
I'm using the same wallet I've used the entire time, and only recently has this problem arisen.

I'm using MulbitBit 0.5.18, as it was what I was first taught to use and as I said I've never had any problems with it, so I saw no reason to change platform.

I tried to sell some bitcoin today to Bogla, and as usual they wait for a confirm before paying which is fine.

However, it's been 9 hours and there is no confirm yet and yes I've dealt with bitcoin I know it takes a while sometimes but I'm worried as another payment I sent on the 23rd has also not confirmed.

So basically what I need help with is, how can I get my bitcoin out of this wallet and into PayPal, or another wallet that actually works 100% of the time.

If there's any information you can share to help solve this it would be extremely appreciated.

Create another wallet elsewhere or have somebody hold it for you while you do.

 

I have wallets elsewhere, but any Bitcoin I send out from this wallet doesn't seem to be confirming at all.

I've read that this can be caused by low transaction fees, but I have no option to adjust them and this has never happened to me until two days ago.

 

Someone sent me btc yesterday, took 8 hours to confirm. Same situation as you so I'd assume everything is okay.

 

can u link us the blockchain info? www.blockchain.info BTC transactions have been slow af, but 9 hours is a bit weird. I get dozens of transactions every day and almost all of them confirm within the hour.

 

it's just the blocks being slow, you can keep an eye here: 63510 Unconfirmed Transactions

& see when there are transactions being backed up

The most recent ones are the ones that aren't working, I'm on mobile ATM so it's awkward to use the site but doesn't look like much has changed since I went to sleep

I don't know much about software wallets besides the bitcoin core wallet here Bitcoin Core

Once you download, it will download the entire blockchain, which will probably take a few days to a couple of weeks, but I've used it and haven't had any issues, you can also adjust the transaction fee to achieve faster confirmations.

I use coinbase, and it usually confirms within 15 minutes, but I've had it take a couple of hours during high bitcoin traffic times.
