I feel party hats are over-rated... I mean, it's a pure display of your amazingness, so in that aspect, not over-rated, but there's so many things that look better.... But I also feel the same way about 120 capes.... I like my max cape more than a 120, been fully maxed for a good long time and highest xp in 1 skill is like 36m and thats because I still gain xp from combat. lol

But if I had to choose 1 or the other.... Farming would be faster and easier to get 600m vs 2.1b (or are you saying 600m from lv99 to lv100? I took it as from 99 to the 100m xp required for 120 lol) Well now I've confused myself.... Start small, go big. Get cheapest/easiest first. (if you can flip to 2.1b over night, get phat first... lol)

 

I'd for the farm cape mate, due to the fact that 120 farming is one of the sexiest capes in RS.

 

I love the 120 FarmCape, it's so beautiful but a pain to do. I don't see much people with 120 Farm so go for it!

 

Why not go for both?

Think of a Farming method which won't lose much money then you can rebuild and save up for your own Partyhat.

 

120 farming, quite unique i'd get it

 

Party hat... you can sell that when you quit

 

save for phat , when u get bored from the game you can sell it

 

I would buy a phat rather than going for 120 farming if I were you.

 

120 capes look much better than a partyhat in my opinion. But you will get more compliments and you'll be noticed more in game if you have a partyhat, speaking from personal experience. Go for 120 farming mate. Don't buy a partyhat now, they're expected to drop a lot in price after invention is released.

Take a look at the Black Santa, you can always make money farming if you get sick of grinding it continuously.
