I buy this headset for my new Xbox off a 'mate' in College. I get home, try it out and the microphone doesn't work. I ring him up and explain what happened and he is like "oh, well it worked for me it's not my problem anymore. I said no refunds, see you tomorrow."
The only funny thing is, he never said "no refunds" and I'm quite inclined to go to College tomorrow and beat the fucking shit out of him. He's essentially scammed me £30. And I see him every day in College.
I've checked online with the headset and such, it seems it's loose inside on the volume control box and the connection is faulty. I've done all the possible diagnostics and I've even wiggled the wire around and it does appear on screen in places so I know it is just loose. I'm not interested in paying for a replacement or more parts for it (I don't think this part can be replaced regardless).
Any ideas of what I can do? All I want is this £30 back and that be the end of it, I'm pretty sure he knew it was faulty and decided to just sell it to me anyway. I seriously thought all this drama in College was done now. I was sure I could trust him as I've known him since last September.
Any advice guys?
