I just visited the viral thread forum and i think its a cool concept but a little less dog fucking and it would be top notch. I mean it does seem to increase activity but how many stay and do we really want people who are googling and trying to find a girl fucking a dog.

The idea is good, but the stuff that is in that Sub-Forum right now is beyond ridiculous.

As for "Less Dog Fucking," SEO. Find something that isn't available but it widely referenced, boom. Viral thread.

It hasn't been used because the ones who had secret SEO boss measures are banned for the most part, and marrow doesn't give a shit anymore.

No reason to remove it. It's funny and brought us a lot of traffic, as well as marrow like 600 refs.

Besides, the spam forum is a complete load of shit anyway.

 

Don't understand why people get their panties in such a twist over this. Its a container for viral threads, which attract people to the site, which improves sythe's seo and is a healthy thing for the site.

Who cares, don't click it.

 

People's protests mostly are over the content in the area - there isn't any new content added, and the current content is obsolete and sickening. Even if it were moved where it wasn't visible from the spam forum would be an improvement.

 

So you are saying you want people on Sythe that were sent here because they looked up such atrocious things? May I remind you most people using Sythe are below 18, and I'm pretty sure Sythe does not want to introduce such things to kids at that age.

If ACTUALLY RELATED to blackmarket/RS/LOL items were used as Viral Threads, I would have no problem. But what is being listed is irrelevant to Sythe and that's the bland truth.

It isn't obsolete, people still search those terms because they were so popular. Meaning they view the thread. That in turn increases our seo and makes sythe rank higher in the search results.

That's retarded, as if any of them join or stay. Even if a few did actually stick around for gaming discussion and stuff, like I'd judge them based on what weird porn they like.

Its there for seo, that's why it isn't removed. It can't go anywhere else so that's where it stays.

Believe it or not saying disturbing things aren't against the rules in the spam forum, all it is is the disturbing/viral ones being pulled away to a separate area you aren't forced to ever click.

 

I can't believe someone who would search such propaganda up, would stick to Sythe for content way opposite to the thing that led them here.

My whole point of making this thread is to move the so called "Viral Threads" to another section-possibly just merge them into Spam Forum-as they are just spam, or change the Viral section to be used as it is named, included moving actual viral threads in there.

It makes no sense to have a special Sub-Forum for SEO purposes. If Sythe wants to increase its SEO with such items, have fun, but please don't make a special Subforum for it. There is no reason someone in their right mind would want to dig and find these threads, for if they were put in the regular Spam forum.

 

The whole section is basically a joke that got extra hilarious when that dog video came out. I say keep it just for historical purposes. It doesn't do anything now but it's not hurting anyone either. On occasion you'll still see a guest browsing

 

It was created to keep that shit from entirely flooding the spam forum. There for a while SEO whoring was a big deal and people would flood SF with bullshit in hopes of getting hits. The CONSTANT bumps and complete lack of content lead to the viral threads subforum. This fad lasted a week or so and since the section has falled into obscurity. It didn't exist before Alyssa Rosales fucked that dog.

At this point I just don't see a need for it. No contributions in over a year and very few guests per day. Maybe we should just move it? A dead subforum primarily composed of threads about dogfucking isn't the most appealing thing to see upon entering the SF..
