New Rule

Why would I mention it? I never said it didn't happen I didn't think it needed to be mentioned. Also I agree everyone deserves the same rules and at the moment we're much to lenient on releasing personal information. I personally think make up to 6 months for everyone depending on severity. I.e personal pictures/facebook is more than a personal skype ect.

 

I was more agreeing on the general 'same rule goes for all' principle. Yeah, I think 6 months is too steep, but if it's a choice between 6 months for staff and 1 month for regular users or 6 for both then I'd go with 6 for both. One hierarchy of users don't deserve special rights/protection over others.

 

How is 6 months too steep?

It's the standard duration for pardon re-application. Honestly, I think they're being nice for the severity of committing such an act on an online forum.

It's been 1 month all the time. Suddenly it increases to 6? For what reason, only the protection of certain users which we don't really need to go into.

 

Okay how about this -

1 month - 6 months ban based on the severity of the personal info leaked.

Maybe the victim and the staff decide together how bad it was and how long they should be punished?

That is not what this rule says. This rule says that since I posted Richard holland you have to ban me for 6 months. You do not have a choice in the matter. If you don't you are breaking the rules. Fucking retarded.
