Not sure what the house edge is at ddyce but say its 10%. To break even on a 3.5b investment for a rank you'd need to take roughly 3.5b/0.1 = 35b worth of bets. This sounds like a lot but it really depends on the amount/size of bets you get per day.

Not worth it, too much competition and as everyone else has said the game community is dropping fast and is full of 17 year olds looking to scam/ddos/glitch.

 

In my opinion it's not worth it, for the money you spend, but it's up to the OP to decide.

 

In my opinion is not worth, you need tonnnnnnnnnns of time, if you can handle your time with the gold selling thing and still have a nice stock on your main accounts to handle those bets maybe :s...

Dicing is bad, ppl usually dont trust irc or enter a site to try to join the chat of dicing, also you need to compete vs other hosts...


I prefer staking, try to study all the ways how to profit and you can make 1k$ usd -3k usd in 1 day xD or lost like 50$ or 100$ and learn the lesson and start again the next day .
Example :

Why should I gamble you? since I know other traditional hosts...

I agree, like i stated they're struggling to get bets, won't be surprised if their irc bot was in their favor, and people don't trust irc bots nowadays.

 

No, its not worth your time at all you're better off working in the real world.

Even then you have no real way to know... For all you know it could be the higher up's placing those bets on their own hosts... It's not provably fair at all.

Why would you bet so high on a 20% house edge... There are many provably fair (unlike dragon dyce which can't be proven fair) ways to gamble that are closer to 1% house edge.

Listen, some hosts are still making some profit, but they are the ones online all day waiting for the right time.

You can't AFK at Ddyce. You have to be ready to respond if you plan to be hosting. You can sit for 8 hours+ and get nothing but then get a huge bundle of bets one hour later (inconsistent).


Not worth it. It's not like it use to be. Inconsistent and not worth your time.

I was hosting 4-8 hours a day and barely making a few hundred mill at the end of the week, that's if I was lucky on splits. + weekly payments to the clan = bye bye profits.


Short Answer: No.

 

There would be no reason or ability to fake the bets. Dragon Dyce has been the largest dice clan for over 3 years, with over 500 past and current hosts, 6+ of who were/are Sythe staff (that immediately come to mind). Even if it were 'higher ups' placing bets on their own hosts, why would we be spending money on to make the illusion of activity on our own workers. As for it being provably fair, the stats and logs are available to anyone logging the channel, and Dragon Dyce offers flower games as well as IRC games. If there were any unseen advantage, flower games wouldn't be offered, and the stats/logs would reflect it.

I'm not going to comment on earnings or anything since my experience and income as a Dragon Dyce Administrator won't be a useful comparison to a new incoming rank. However, I will defend the legitimacy of our clan's dicebot and the legitimacy of the large bets/giveaways

You'd have to be a complete moron to hand over Bil+ bets to these guys anyway.

What are you basing this off of? I personally like most of the hosts. I frequently just chill in the IRC to chat with them. From my experience betting there, the bets are not rigged, and I've placed some relatively large bets.

OT: As many others have stated, it may not be worth it unless you find yourself with a lot of free time. The hosts who make profits are the hosts who are in the IRC almost 24/7.

 

Didn't reliase they still had dicing going on in IRC, but like the others said most people are weary and don't fully trust it so its not even half of what they use to make

 

does anyone know what they charge monthly for there host

 

buy in is 3.5b + 250m fee every week

 

So it's like 1100$ to join and then 310$ on top of that per month lmfao? (78$/week)
