Those examples you gave are ridiculous. You can't compare different species of plants and animals in a discussion about equality, because they are exactly what I said, entirely different species. If you want to talk about whether one kind of apple is better than another, make a new thread. Also, black and white are opposites of each other so that's just... no, just no.

I don't even know where to begin... Alright so I'm going to do a super super brief overview of the various areas you've given. There's too much information in each of them to go over everything.

The main biological difference between human males and females are their reproduction roles. Women have different hormone levels, (slight) skeletal structures and muscle development than men because their bodies need to withstand child birth and also care for the child afterwards. Males obviously don't need that, so their bodies developed more towards survival abilities, i.e upper body strength. Women tend to be more attracted to men who they feel could be a better protector so that their children survive. The definition of "protector" has changed over the millennia, but I won't go into that. So yes, they are different in that respect, but they both play an equal role in the survival of the species because without one you cannot have the other. We are of equal value within the species.

So that touched on the physical differences enough I think. Now, there are some biologically psychological difference between men and women, but most psychological "ways of thinking" (4am and can't think of a better word or phrase) is due to nurture, or how the child was raised, and not because of their gender.

Ethnicity has little to do with anything. A male born on the southern tip of Chile can have a child with a woman born in the most remote village in China. The physical differences between those two humans just has to do with the environment their ancestors evolved in. Any biological changes are so minute there is basically no effect on the child.

So anyway, it's late and my mind is starting to drift. My point is, men and women are equal because while we have different roles within the species, we have the same levels of contribution potential within the society and so that's why I believe men and women are equals.

I'm not going near the Q'uran topic you brought up because I am not well schooled in religion at all, but I also don't find conversations that have to do with a supreme being dictating what's what to be very comprehensive - so I just stay away.
