Why do you play runescape?

I play/bot RuneScape for profit.

 

I play to bot, sell gold irl, and pk on my maxed accs lol.

 

no I just feel that if your not high up there in the ranks or good at 1 decent skill your just another rand playing this game... which annoys me :X

 

It started because I was addicted to the actualy gameplay (training Range, Magic, Defence, doing quests, etc.). However, it recently turned into an addiction for making money :l

 

I play to get max cape on 1 of my mains (getting very close!), while PvM'ing and casually skilling on the other.

At the moment I have just started to get back into Corp'ing on my PvM account, and I just got 96 Farming last night on the account I am getting max cape on.

 

Money and it's fun at times. I also use RuneScape for Photoshop and YouTube reasons to become known/

 

I play Runescape to make money, of which I will build trust and sell on here.

 

Just recently quit..

After loosing around 20b
My main with all 99s being rolled back..
my 1 character name being deleted..

 

I play Runescape because it is a easy game, which means that I can just chill while playing and watch a movie or something. But, I do think that people are getting over the top with bots now, with loads of people running bot farms now. It's not really fair on those players who may bot sometimes, but do play legit when they can. I mean, one or two bots may be ok, but running 10+ bots 24/7 to get gp is just too much and is causing a lot of inflation in the market.

 

Something to do...Fun, build something up i guess dunno lol

 

I really don't know how to answer it. They're tons of better things to waist my time with.

Addiction?

 

I like to play runescape mainly to max out my range tank (see my thread). Or I just play runescape to chill with friends and enjoy myself when im bored. Thanks

I personally think that free trade was the worst thing to happen to runescape, there would be a ton less bots, and achieving something would actually mean something because u couldn't just go out and buy 1b gp to get all buyable skills done, you would have to actually go and earn the gp yourself

 

Yeah, it did dull down the game some and a lot of 99s are not respected like they use to be.

u can practically bot any skill now :X

 

as i said, I got around 250m atm and before free trade i only had around 60m. I am willing to lose that cash pile just to get back the trade limit.

 

Not many things are respected in nowadays in RS, haha.

I would give up some of my wealth too.

 

I play because my friends play... but none of them know sythe

 

I play RS because I have played ever since I was in fifth grade, let alone the number of times I've been banned I still play, currently I do not bot, I have played legit for like 5 months bro.
