Thanks! I'd say the hardest thing about being homosexual is having to be cautious in everything that you do - ensuring that your sexuality isn't overt or obvious to those that you don't want it to be to.

Yeah, almost every day.

Perhaps the most notable was when I was forced to stand with a DJ and answer questions in front of my entire family at somebody's wedding around a year ago. He asked a number of general questions before asking ''so, Finn, do you have a girlfriend?'' Upon answering ''no'', he asked ''do you want a girlfriend?'' I didn't want to lie, and so I simply said ''no''. Everyone went quiet, and he said ''I won't ask the next question, then...'' and laughed. I just stood there whilst everyone else just stared in astonishment. That was pretty awkward.

Hello Finn , I have a question that's been playing on my mind lately , I hope you don't find it rude , but here is it.

How did you obtain the 'Highly Respected' Rank? Did you give it to your self? Was it voted in by other staff? Because honestly , I don't think your that respected among the community after recent threads / events.

I'm actually from England, not Germany; I did however visit Berlin recently, hence the misleading location. Germans all seemed fine towards homosexuality, although I expect Muslims in Germany are far less tolerant towards it. They, however, ought to be cautious. It is they that the people of this continent increasingly revile, not homosexuals.

This, and also, what has ended up happening to thread? I know a majority of people have said it was moved to the staff boards. However, I would like to know what has become of the thread, as in, what is happening in the thread, just a discussion about the topic? (I understand of course if thats private, it's in the staff boards for a reason ) Also, why wouldn't it be in the community general forums? I would assume it should be, as it affects the community.

edit: By the way, I'm not saying this to you to attack you about the thread. Since I've been lurking here I always found you to be a cool, down to earth guy. I'm just curious.
