Sacro - Excellent job on the Account Recoveries, sorry about archiving them though; I was helping out Giverny.

 

Although I'm happy that Sacro answered many (if not all) of the account recoveries, I am extremely disappointed that globals have to be nagged/prompted to do them. If they are a global+ responsibility, give them modlogs for replying on the thread or something.

A change in the system is necessary.

 

I'm just going to be honest and say that if you guys are only doing things for modlogs, your attitude needs to change. Assuming an account recovery takes 10 minutes (which I don't believe it does), you could each at least do ONE a day since you're online anyway.

 

It wouldnt kill anybody to participate more. In every aspect of moderation. And no, I don't think any of the mod's have Mod Log issues, i was just venting.

Everyone needs to do more, especially in light of the recent loss of administration.

 

Misunderstanding, I didnt know Account Recoveries gave modscore. Besides I wasn't doing them for credit, rather to help Giverny considering the amount of time she can get on when she isnt tied up with work or her current issues.

The way account recovery's are handled has changed now, they should run much smoother.

Giverny - Glad you picked up your activity. You made some awesome promotions and I've also seen you in the dispute section. You've picked up again, and I'm really happy to see that.

 

Well I made the decision to have my work hours cut so I could dedicate more time to other aspects of my life. I'm technically losing out on a lot of money in order to help maintain the site, but it's all worth it in the end.

 

Props to Giverny for her hard work this week. Today's promotions shows her hard work and dedication to this site, and we're glad to have her on the team.

Good job picking up while Govind is away, hopefully people recognize everything you've done recently.

 

I'd just like to say Karl and SuF have been doing an amazing job everywhere, especially livechat. Mohtasa does some work there too.

Karl's attitude has also had a major change in the past few months, great job .

The fact that a general administrator (albeit on on leave) has this train of thought seriously concerns me. This site only exists because of its every day users and traders. Of course general administrators should strive to have the approval of the site's tier 1 management, but having community support is just as, if not more, important, especially as Sythe and Matthew are not active in the community. General administrators should not only be in touch with the community, but also have earned its respect through strong, visible leadership and active interest in members' concerns (responding to PMs, being available, not acting 'above' members, etc).

I just want to post some feedback for Karl!

I used the LiveHelp system yesterday for the first time, and it went quite smoothly and Karl was very helpful

I will also take this opportunity to comment on the LiveHelp system. I never thought I would really need to use it, but yesterday seemed fairly appropriate and I was impressed with how quick the response was and how convenient it is being able to contact a moderator directly, anytime you need the help. You guys are all doing a good job with the new system it seems and I'm very glad we have had this system implemented! & thanks again to Karl for responding immediately and being friendly & patient.

For all the other Mods - keep up the great work guys. I think everybody is doing a fantastic job and working hard right now

 

I'm still adjusting to global, plus I've been gone off and on. Plus I def. have double so I'm not hurting. It's hard when users don't give a username just say I'd like my reset info sent to an email.

Rather than infracting users for unnecessary things, you should stop being hypocritical and breaking rules yourself. This thread speaks for itself. You shouldn't be advertising MM services, as it's against the rules to do so.

This feedback is out of spite as I infracted you for making a flame thread in the spam forum. Nevertheless, unlike you I can admit my mistakes and fix the problem - which I said I would here in this post. Instead of crying to admins to reverse an infraction I simply adjusted my thread to fit the rules. So please instead of posting unnecessary and useless feedback, just simply pm the problem and I'll fix it with a little problem to anybody.
