Staff Feedback

To some of the staff - You guys take feedback too personally.

 

You can't generalize all of the staff. I've taken feedback from users respectfully in the past. I normally don't even say anything afterwards.

Some Moderators (mostly new ones) have been giving out infractions for the smallest reasons.

I'm guessing bumping other peoples threads isn't allowed unless you're the owner/it has your name on the first post?

Oh well lol

 

Bumping is only allowed every 24 hours, and if you bump someone elses thread within 24 hours of the last bump, you will be infracted.

 

Free bumping hasn't ever been allowed, I got 2 infractions a while back for bumping Viou's thread, and it wasn't within 24 hours so that's not the reason lol.

Edit: Also, to Alteranz - I didn't like you at first, it was only because I was infracted and what not for what was seemingly such a small thing but, anyways I've noticed you've done a lot of good. Good job .

 

We're all issuing more because we all have decided infractions need to be used; they are easier to keep track of and have more of a meaning than a posted warning. To compensate, the ban duration for accruing infractions has been reduced for the first and second instances of accruing too many. Five warnings is still pretty hard to get to, after all.

I'd say a little bit of the same goes for me... I've warmed to a few members like yourself since coming back, as I was a little sour towards some when I first arrived for no reason. Cheers for the feedback Lym!

 

Been busy with irl stuff but still keeP up with everything. And to HHN I haven't taken anything too personally.

 

This pretty much sums it up. Infractions are meant to be used. If you're breaking the rules, then we're going to warn you. What's the best way to do this, and actually make sure we get our point across? With an infraction.

Your suggestion wasn't the reason it came back though. Plenty of other people shared the same sentiment. The other system was being tested, and they are reverting back to the previous one.

 

I was just saying thanks for pushing it, because it is a better system. I mean he posted in the thread saying that he would push for it in the SL.

 

The Dispute section could use a little love. Even the usual active posters are slacking a little, there's about 10 threads unanswered/last reply from the OP and no final decision made.

 

I'd just like to say thanks to all staff, for continuing to uphold such a great standard on sythe

 

There are tons of threads in report a scammer...one is one week old..

 

SuF - Great Mod, although his section isn't extremely active.

 

I know you guys are busy but the Report a Scammer section is getting pretty crowded - 4 pages of potential scammers on the loose.

 

Alteranz - Good job so far.
Awesome Stranger - I think your activity is dropping a little bit, but you're still doing okay in my opinion.
Cosrob97 - Great job staying involved in RaSc. I like that you are willing to contribute even more to the website by handling scam reports.
Determinate - Your activity is dropping.
Djweasel - Your activity is dropping as well.
FlyingToast - I think you're done with your exams now, and I think you're slowly coming back.
JohnK - It's nice to see you around, and there isn't much for you to do in your section as far as I know.
KerokeroCola - Keep it up!
Kinaesthic - I didn't like the fact that you deleted all of your video tutorials because people were copying your style. Would you please post some more video tutorials with different styles, and perhaps try to teach some of the newbie GFXers how to start experimenting with the settings in Photoshop/3DS/whatever?
MohtasaUnique - Your activity has dropped lately, but I think you're slowly coming back..?
n4n0 - You're very strong activity wise, and I feel like your attitude has improved greatly over the past few weeks. Thanks.
Scottay - Your activity has dropped lately as well.
SuF - Not much to do in your section, however, I like your moderating style.

Clashfan - I'm glad you are getting involved in the RaSc section.
CSkiffingt1 - I wish you'd answer disputes & account recoveries more often.
Farcast - Like Corey, I wish you'd answer disputes & account recoveries more often.
FireZ - You do your fair share of work around these parts
Giddy - Thanks for doing some RaSc, would you answer some disputes/account recoveries now?
Karl - Thanks for helping me when I asked, also, good luck with the OGV team work.
Nick - I like that you're slowly getting more and more active, I really wish you'd post in the Dispute Forum.
Sacro - I'd like you to post in the Dispute Forum too.
Sin666 - Good job, can you answer some more disputes?

To all global moderators: There's 3 pages of disputes and 6 pages of (some answered) account recoveries. If they've been resolved off MSN, would you guys move them so it doesn't look like they've gone unanswered?


Giverny - I wish you'd get more active in the community, but I understand that you're going through some stuff in real life.
Matthew - Good work managing the donation center.
Govind - I never see you around on sythe, however, I see moderators+ posting that you're doing a lot of behind-the-scenes work, so kudos to that.
