Yeah, I understand, and I apologize. I asked the user to PM me about the issue, and If I see he learned from this mistake, I would reverse the infraction(s). But, he just stated "Who are you to judge if I learned from this mistake," and stuff like that. I mean, I tried to help him out, but he didn't take it. I wasn't trying to look like a jackass, but I guess it came out that way. Once again, I apologize, and I can assure you this wont happen again.

 

Lack of shown (reports/actions that are visible) activity
Lack of active staff.

Staff activity has dropped, significantly.

RaSc section is only ever "attacked"(gone through) if someone complains(in most cases)

I always hear the mods, who do RaSc reports saying "Do not bump your thread, we do reports in reverse order, and bumping your thread will only cause the person to be banned at a later time"

And punkerpunk13 has posted a unban dispute about 15+hours ago , and it's still not even visible(Unless staff are discussing it in SL)

I believe a few members of staff, are just using their rank, for show + trust(To make money, and not do their 'job' as staff on this site)

And, I'm always thanking FireZ for doing his LARGE part in RaSc section.

 

Don't be so vile, we all have things to do, and remember that at this time of the year, a lot of us have just finished with school related activities (exams, etc) and are probably getting their future straightened out.

As for reverse order, I'll be honest in saying that I start from the top, however some moderators tend to do it in reverse order (definitely the best way). Make sure those you are complaining about actually said they do it in reverse order, one moderator doesn't the procedures for everyone else.

I honestly don't think there are any staff members using their rank for trust/money, we are all just so busy with other things. Personally, I've already listed why I'm *inactive*, but it'll all be over with soon enough.

Honestly, I saw nothing to constitute "vileness" in CC's post. While his feedback was undeniably candid and frank, this is an issue that certainly deserves such candor. Failure to ban scammers is an event that results in allowing them even more time to commit these atrocities. Yes, the excuses are valid for each person who is failing to do them, but CC wasn't pointing fingers at any individual. The simple fact is that nearly everybody has an excuse. Scam reports are piling up, and, as a result, the already rampant ranks of scammers is presently swelling. Please realize that ChristmasCracker wasn't trying to be confrontational so much as he was trying to address an urgent situation.

One thing I'd like to note: I can take the blame for the "reverse order" thing. When I made that sticky, it was because this was--for the most part--how reports were done. I never took the time to gain a consensus, but reports were done every day so I never saw a need. Like I said, this particular issue was my fault. Sectionals are not obligated to perform scam reports; when they do, they are encouraged only to so the ones they feel comfortable doing. Thus, sectionals should not necessarily do them in reverse order, and their help is obviously appreciated nonetheless.

 

I'll take Angus as an example, I know ban discussion is NOT allowed sorry, he scammed like 3 days ago, and was recently banned yesterday. Giving him time to potential scam more members. And I've seen it with various other members, they scam once, and the scam report is posted, with full information needed to warrant a ban. And the ban doesn't happen for a day+, so they keep scamming and before no time at all they have 3+ reports on them. Sure people should always check if the person they are trading has scam reports, but people aren't always going to.

 

If you guys aren't active enough to maintain your spot, give it up so someone more qualified and dedicated that can do it.

How on earth is he being "vile"? He's posting his honest opinion in an honest, mature way. How is the average member supposed to know about your personal lives? (Although the new thread will be helpful). Your comment was simply rude.

I agree, although I do understand that people are busy and have things they need to do. Maybe we shouldn't have so many staff members that are occupied by the same thing?
