Quit arguing with people, you're making yourself look bad.

And that was an example, I understand that there are other reasons, however the reasons are not necessary. If people don't like you and so you want to change identity then one of two things are going to happen:
1. They will know (if you were worthy enough of even talking to)
2. You will act like a moron again and everyone will feel the same way.

It just makes the moderators jobs harder to take care of double accounts... They already have enough to do as it seems.

For the simple fact that this would make ban evasion impossible to ban for anymore, it will be denied.

If people have multiple accts I do a very thorough check on them to make sure they aren't interacting.

 

The problem isn't how many accounts a user has, the problem is when that user has interactions between the account(s). As in self-vouching, making fake offers, etc.

 

self vouching is a 90 day ban. Interaction between accts, fake offers and such, is worth a TWC.

 

A while back i found two accounts that belonged to the same person but because they didn't interact I was told its fine, they both ended up scamming people.

Support. This rule would be good if added. The problem of having 2 Sythe accounts, is that if you had a problem with another user on account A(your primary account), and that user ignores you, you can simply log-into your other account, and bug the user from there. Otherwise, there would be no point in the ignore list of Sythe.

 

I have said per a person, you and your brother are two persons.

As I see the most of the people who do not support, are the people who has multiple accounts

Read close to the bottom of that post and follow the links. A kid would post something, and then log on to his other account, and support his previous post but from a different account to better persaude people into false information.

He went around posting that I was a scammer on both of his accounts but he did it immediately after each of his initial posts.

Yep, it should be allowed only with moderators aprove, incase you do not like your username, your brother/sister wants to register on sythe, you should contact sythe moderators before registering multiple accounts.

The rules used to be that having multiple accounts = ban. It was changed because many new users, especially in the market, would forget their account information and end up creating a new one when they wanted to come back. Somewhere along the line it was decided that they shouldn't be banned for this.

That said, I can't really think of a legitimate reason for someone like "Nobodyneedstoknow" to have at least three accounts.

The only reason I can see why you'd have three accounts would be to disassociate yourself from your previous actions or reputation, which I'd consider deceitful.

 

I agree with WeRnIS. Only if your family wants to join, name change, etc.

 

This. Why would anyone need a second account unless the first one isn't accessible?

 

Neither of these apply to me. I just highly value my privacy, which is compromised already due to me recently logging into my other account.
