Multiple accounts

No support. I do not see an issue with multiple accounts.

I have at least 3 accounts here, and I'm totally legitimate. I have my reasons.

Because mods want to keep track of 500+ ppl with multiple accts /sarcasm.

Also mods change quite often.

Most I have seen thus far was 5 for 1 person.

 

But why would you ever want/need another account?

 

I have some older accounts, because I didn't like my old names - I don't support it's going to cause two many mistakes with ban evasion and stuff.

 

My reasons are personal. If you do not want more than one account, do not make another. Simple as that. Do not try to force others to abide by your likes/dislikes.

A normal person would just have one account that they do their business on.

Personally, I think name changes are dumb. There is plenty of time to think up a username to use when you first register your account... If you think it is dumb, why'd you make it like that in the first place?

The fact of the matter is that this rule you want instated is ridiculous and unnecessary. You are suggesting to ban legitimate members of the community over something that is their right to do. You have done NOTHING for sythe yet you want long time members banned for this? Fuck off.

I am content with all of the names I've created. I have not made new accounts for name changes.

 

you're slow.
the rules say even if you have more than one account, and one gets banned, you can't return on the other account.
example.
two accounts created on the same day(4/3/09), bob and tom.
bob gets banned on 5/1/09, this means the user can NOT come back with tom, even though it was created before bob was banned.

It wouldn't be a ban...It would probably be more along the lines of, you must keep one account and you will receive an infraction on it. The other will be no longer accessible. Also, I have not done anything for sythe and I don't plan to do nothing, and I am also assuming you haven't done much either...

That's funny, I didn't know "why the fuck" was offensive... I am pretty sure I say that a dozen times a day and don't offend anybody.

My point by saying that is that you do not need to know why people create multiple accounts. Not everyone creates a new account because of a lousy name (in fact, nobody that I know personally has made a new sythe account just to change their name). The real point is that you are in the wrong because you can't give me any reasons to punish people for having multiple accounts. Having more than one account does not mean "oh it's just easier for them to ban evade when they do get banned." That is one flaw in reasoning there... You are assuming everyone will get banned, that everyone is a scammer or cheat, or does something heinous here.

Lovely. What does this have to do with anything? Calculating my total posts plus 100 for other people talking about me (most likely 300+, though), a rough guess would be 0.0492% of all posts on sythe are related to me.

 

I think you should be allowed, Why because me and my brother use the same ip and have different sythe acc's
