Opinions on the Syrian situation?

I'm aware but Russia won't take anything the US has to say into consideration. They've warned us in the past about interfering with their allies and here we are, breaking word.

In their eyes, from this point on, actions are going to speak louder than words.

 

But the thing is nothing is going to be solved the people need to understand that the War is going to happen & someone or something bad is going to happen. End off. Unless Obama (Mr I know everything) Does something clever once in his life and makes a change so he doesn't get harmed with his country.

 

It's the UN's problem, not the US'. But, as usual, they're being reeled in by God knows who. I have a really bad feeling about the US sticking their noses in where it doesn't belong.

 

I agree that I have a bad feeling about the US also sticking their nose where it should not be and getting involved and trying to take over the Middle-east when that's not going to happen but again the US thinks they can do whatever they want and when they want to but until that day happens in a few weeks when they get hit hard and realize that it was a bad idea to stick their noses in wrong places. I literally cannot wait for the War to happen its about to happen from what I'm hearing on BBC news and everywhere its official. The US is going to get hit really bad I can tell you that if they carry on.

 

One big proxy war if you ask me. Iran backing Assad and potentially reeling the US in because they know for a fact:

• The US will respond and throw their weight around
• Russia are right behind them and China will continue arming them

I also found it ridiculous that the US have basically announced action but wont be taking any for weeks or months, giving the opposition time to plan, be armed and ready.

Indecision at it's finest, they've no clue what they're getting in to in my opinion. I'm very glad the UK did the smart thing and stayed out of it.

 

I agree again and its good to hear that our own country UK backed away its not the prime minister that decided to it was the MP's or something like that I cannot remember but I heard it on BBC news 2 days ago. Also one more thing he mentions rules but I guess that Obama has already broken two rules that are not meant to be broken by a US President and then he goes on about Assad breaking rules which is really hypercritical. But Assad is just as bad as Obama because they are both doing wrong things at the moment.

 

Cameron wanted to take action but the Government were defeated by 285 votes to 272 in the Commons. Thankfully Cameron realised the votes were a representation of how the UK felt and abandoned his plans. Yeah, it may damage the US-UK relations but fuck getting in to a scuffle with Russia.

 

I agree again because it would be a bad idea but Obama has to realize that no ones wants to war its just him that want's to make a conflict and get destroyed let alone. But however I hope Syria improves again they don't deserve this and what's happening at the moment in the country by the rebels which is then spreading to my country (Lebanon) in the north which is turning bad also. And also this should never happen there should be peace with everyone and happy but once again you cannot have that because theres always that greedy person that wants to do something and gain more and just ruined people's life's. They also talk up an act but then delay it please tell me what that shows of the US.

 

Does america really need another war? This will just cause long-term inflation for our economy, that's finally starting to get back on it's feet.

It's not the UN's problem, the UN were founded and are funded by the west, this is an eastern problem that requires an eastern solution.

 

Just remember the kind of government we have here in America. They don't care if they make enemies with everyone else for 1 simple reason. If another country invaded us and they even got a slight feeling that we were going to lose the homefront, our government would launch nuclear missiles and wipe out the entire world. Kill us americans and everyone else out. Of course the higher ups probably have bunkers to survive it, but to hell with us common folk.

I firmly believe Americans would take actions into their own hands before they allowed such a threat. When the people feel entirely insecure about the welfare of their families, actions will be taken.
