    Hello,

    My thread is about not allowing bumping of “Suggestion” threads aka threads in this section.

    Why?

    1. It’s pointless, currently the activity will keep your thread at the top.

    2. Bumping a suggestion adds to post count? (I could be wrong) but who’s to say I just can’t go bump every other thread to boost my count.

    3. It’s dumb, if anyone cared about your thread you’d know it.

    The bumping rules thread states that "You may bump your market thread (by your own post) every 4 hours." It doesn't make any mention of nonmarket threads so I don't think this is even allowed currently. Would like to see some more thoughts regarding this before we close this.

    I think we can include clarification on our bumping rules thread. There are non-market sections where I think bumping is fine, but for suggestions and the dispute forum we should definitely disallow it.

    I'll take a look later today at the other sections.

    I don’t see anyone abusing bumps on suggestion threads, and subsequently don’t think this is necessary. The suggestions section gets a lot of clutter, I don’t have an issue with people occasionally bumping for visibility.

    Pretty sure this is already a rule, or like Yoshiki said, indirectly mentioned of not being allowed. If people are bumping such threads, just report them using the report button.
