Hi all,

I'm going through a tough time IRL and ended up having to sell all of my osrs gold to bring some money in for food. I've sold what I had but I probably need another £200 or so to get through the rest of the month.

Amongst my search for how to sell gold, I came across this site and it seems like there are many opportunities to make money, I'm just wondering which are most lucrative? Is there a certain type of account that I could build that sells for a decent amount? What generally has the quickest turnover? Is there a certain thing that people need more than other things?

I study Music so I don't know if anybody needs mixing services?

I only really play OSRS but I'll try another game if it's going to bring some money in.

Could someone please advise me on what I can do to make money?

Welcome to the forum, I've been there personally, you will get through it big guy!

Make sure to check out all the sub sections on the forums, there are many methods to make some extra money, it also depends what you enjoy grinding in game as well to earn gold, etc.

You can design graphics, music - like you mentioned, in game services, don't be shy to ask other members for help and also check out the discord to get to know everyone more.

 

Ignorant question, since this wasn’t stated in your post. Have you not outsourced actual work?

 

theres a lot of people who buy accounts and services. plenty of account sellers will pay you to make certain builds for them, not at the fairest prices (most likely), but if youre desperate and need income, its viable. just browse through the runescape market.

 

I've had long covid since January so unfortunately not. I hardly made it to lectures this year because getting about caused me so much trouble breathing.

I hate to say this but if you’re struggling to put food on the table have you thought of selling umm.. substances?

Many moons ago there was a guy that I knew who had the same problem.. he solved it by turning to selling substances for awhile and then never went back down that path.

Apply for a job, could be minimum wage or whatever. You gotta start somewhere, better yet, record your music and upload on YouTube.

 

Hey! Sorry it's taken a while to reply, I've signed up to a whole bunch of things and it's hard to keep track sometimes...

I'm currently considered to have limited capability for work and work related activity, I recently had a tribunal where I met a judge and a doctor and answered whatever questions they had about my medical evidence and the decision was found to be in my favour.

This does mean that I'm due to be in a better position because I'm owed a backdated payment for the time it's taken to process my claim and my monthly income will finally go up by a little, it's just now this interim period for everything to be processed that we need to get through now but I have been using an elf thieving script and have passively been racking up some millions to sell again when needed. I'm up to about 280M at the moment so it's a little bit of a buffer when the time comes!
