[Approved] Add a winners thread

So the idea behind my suggestion is sort of similar to the pardon section etc, we could have it year by year similar to like how this works Pardon Archive [2016-2021]

That section could show all the previous winners on CDT events, member of the months and such. A very basic concept probably doesn't mean much to others, but highlighting some of the stuff we have done in the past, and their winners of such (including MOTM) could give us ideas to what we could put our efforts into moving forward

Seems a bit basic I know. I was literally about to ask @Juws if anything like this had been mentioned before as he is actively on discord atm, but I cant imagine he would know. Let me know your thoughts, as I say very basic but could be something interesting as it also shows the types of rewards people have also won etc encouraging more people to take part

 

For those also unsure what i'm really meaning by this i'll explain a bit more

I feel that community engagement is key. as can be seen by all previous events selected people do involve themselves, and in the minirank ones we really do get some cool miniranks for the yearly ones which if I could I would make them all lol but they have to be unique

With that type of engagement behind us, I do feel that we could potentially spice up other parts of the community sections as well, I understand there are only a few people who don't just play RS (myself included) but this is the point. If you try it, who knows you may like it, you know?

I feel showing what has previously been won highlighting it or even just showing previous threads that have these cool features like miniranks etc to the community that are easy to find could push people to maybe want to give it a go

 

Yep correct, me and @Zora just mentioned posting it there on discord. I think having the information at least put into the sections similar to the pardons etc would help us keep track too, that way we also know what people like the most or what else we could offer maybe?

 

Support, fairly easy to do at the end of the year and its always interesting seeing a recap of things that happened in the last year and giving those members a little bit of extra recognition for what theyve done

 

I believe that the data from previous bi-monthly’s can capture a majority of this for old winners.

However, I think if CDT reimplements the bi-monthly’s we could utilize that as opposed to a whole thread.

@Wortel use to make them but maybe a new member could take over now that he’s gone.

 

The bimontlys replaced monthlys but I’m with @Techie that yearlys is better since less and less happens on here.

No need for a new section, just one thread a year or so. Should be ezpz for CDT so long you don’t want them from the past years aswell, just the ones moving forward.
