Dustein's 90-99 Woodcutting Log

It's been a couple weeks in the making I just haven't gotten a thread published, but I have decided to get 99 Woodcutting, without trainers or bots, as fast as I can. I will be training on ivy for the remainder of the time, and I will collect birds nest to see how much money you can make from 90-99 strictly on the nests. After I get 99, I plan on emptying all nests, selling their contents, grinding the nests, and selling them on the Grand Exchange, and then the profit will be posted on this thread.

Just so you know, I will be training in World 98, South of Falador, if anyone wants to come train/hang out with me.

Put 12 seed nests, 5 ring nests, and 1 raven nest in the bank. I NOW HAVE 9 RANDOM EVEN GIFTS. Maybe I'll have a party at 92 Woodcutting to open them.

Sorry I haven't been on as much as I have been. Real life stuff gets in the way on weekdays (school, job, etc.,) I'll probably get a lot done this weekend, though.

I finally achieved 99 Woodcutting!

Oh, and you remember that little experiment I was doing to see how much I would make on seeds, rings, and crushed nests alone?







Money earned? About 2M. I haven't even crushed the nests yet, but I have 267 of them right now, and they sell for about 5k a piece, so that'll be... Around 1.3M by itself? I'll post pics after I do it.

We may not get along, but I support your goal especially when you're planning on going legit: something alot of people don't do anymore. Best of luck with your goal.

 

I have already legitimately trained myself from 1 to 99 Hunter, now THAT was a hard one to get. Basically now all I have to do is do other things on my computer with RuneScape on the other monitor, and listen for my character to stop cutting, or a birds nest to fall out of the tree. Compared to Hunter, this is a walk in the park. XD

I never knew you legitly played RS, Dustein. I've seen you stream you woodcutting but I always thought it was a bot. You can put me as a "supporter."

Support. Played legit on and off for 8 years without ever botting, and now I cant stand to skill longer than an hour without going crazy. Good luck with the goal.

Thanks guys, but is playing legitimately really that hard? I'll probably get bored of Runescape eventually (again,) but hopefully it won't be before 99 Woodcutting.

It's my lucky staff. Also, I trained Hunter to 99 with my inventory (quickest way to the bank and back,) so I guess I'm slightly addicted to it. Either that or I forgot to put it in the bank. >_<

 

It's not really hard(I still play legit on my 'main'), it's just with so many advanced bots these days you don't really have to worry about being banned and well, obviously botting is a lot easier than playing legit because you can leave the house or whatever and still get the same amount of EXP.

True, but games are worth much more when you don't cheat. I guess you can play however you like, but earning something yourself is always more rewarding than having it given to you. Sure it is easier, but does it mean as much?
