Just wanted to say that I don't really appreciate the bias staff has in reports, no matter when or where. This surely doesn't apply to all staff members, but it does to most. Now I know that my reputation within the staff team is probably extremely flawed because of all the frustration I have expressed to them - but I still would like to believe that not all I've said was unwarranted.

Now let's put some cases next to each other..

Range_barca vs Worthy: Worthy scamming 82M
ChellBell & Merl seem to work for Worthy, yet have no issues responding in his defence.

Now the infraction was gladly removed and I can't blame Hahanerd for being a retard, but what does strike me as a surprise is the sudden ruling that Chicks has to post for this instance. Chicks and I are both quite confused in regards to this, as previous reports never resulted in any issues. I've asked for reasoning behind this, but it appears that's too much to ask for aswell.

Just for the record I'm not looking for an answer given from a high horse position, but I do think the community deserves some clear guidance in regards to this - because there's clearly some form of miscommunication here.

I’ve noticed that you guys have grown the weird habit to formally greet and say goodbye in most of your posts once you address someone. That’s nice though also very awkward.

As a sidenote I’ve seen multiple staff members handle scam reports by saying they have banned someone, aswell as given them a permanent DNT. Yet you do refer them to the dispute section if they deem their ban was falsely placed. Perhaps a better way would be to leave the word “permanent” out of the entire sentence, because something isn’t permanent when it can be disputed, nor would anyone feel encouraged to repay their debts and pardon, considering you’re saying their DNT is permanent.

I’m a bit of a grammar nazi here perhaps while not even being a native speaker, but I do think the wording in reports and such matter. (Otherwise I wouldn’t be demoted)

 

@video spiked the eggnog this year which has made finding time for a suggestions party tricky. We're on it though. I think we'll do comm repayment rolls too while we're at it.

never ever seen report a scammer/report a ban evader sections so low/empty. good shit.

 

Would be nice to see some more activity from staff in the RASC, RABE and RAVI sections. Some reports are over 2 weeks old without any response yet. Same goes for Suggestions, some suggestions have been chilling there for over a month now. I understand it's a the holiday season, but if you truly are at a lack of moderators you should approve more applications or initiate new moderators quicker.

 

@Gen deserves a raise, whatever you're paying him, double it

 

All of the staff are doing an excellent job.
