What is your favourite film and why?

I can't pick just one so here is a couple of my favourites.

Forrest Gump
Saving Private Ryan
Toy Story 1 & 2
Transformers 1 & 2
Shooter
Home Alone 1 & 2 (3 & 4 are shit)

Just like the story and all.

 

The bruce willis die hard series.

I almost have the movies down lin e by line. Seen them all a combined roughly 75 times.

Also TNT wears those movies out regularly.

 

Godfather pt 1,2+3
Casino
Goodfellas.
Butterfly effect
Donny darko.

But my favourite of all time is the classic black and white 12 angry men.

 

Detroit Rock City and This Is England

 

I can't pick just 1, so for now I'll go with Gran Torino.

Animation : The south park movie
Seriousness : The boondock saints

 

Holy fuck, I love all of those except Shooter, it's not bad but I've seen better, for myself I'd add Avatar, Titanic, The men who stare at goats and Up in the Air.

 

My all out favorite movie I never get sick of - Rush Hour 2... By far one of the funniest movies of all time.

I live any war-like movies like Saving Private Ryan, We were soldiers, Pearl Harbor, but by far, my favorite out of the war movies was Black Hawk Down. If you're a CoD fanatic, watch that movie, you can really get a First Person perspective with that movie.

 

Yes, This is England is such a good film.

Rush Hour and it's sequals were amazing, can't believe I forgot them.

 

^Indeed they were all funny, but 3 was too short and the storyline was more irrelevant. It was definitely the worst out of the 3. They should definitely make more.

Jackie Chan still got some more left in him even though he's 55 years old.
Chris Tucker still one of the funniest actors.

They gotta make 20 more movies before they retire man, amazing together.

 

Andrei Tarkovsky's - Stalker : mesmerizing cinematography, nihilistic sci fi at its best

Jim Jarmusch's - Night On Earth : Silent humor mixed in with Jarmusch's brilliant screenplay talent. Dark, quirky... the best of 90's independent comedy.

Paul Thomas Anderson's - There Will Be Blood : My absolute favorite film of the past decade. Daniel Day Lewis's character is iconic. Ultimate Stanley Kubrick homage and above all and terrifying character study done precisely right.

 

Aha, yeah. Rush Hour wouldn't be the same without Chris Tucker, hilarious.

Rock n Rolla- bad ass

Transporter series- one word "Epic"

James bond series- just awesome.

Without a paddle-Fucking hilarious

Anger management-very clever

Harold and Kumar- Legendary

Pirates of the carrabian I forgot which one I really enjoyed "mindfuck"
