Ban Avatar's That Change Your Username [Will Explain]

Well, the title is a bit confusing, didn't know how to put it short. But lately I have seen a few members with avatars that look like they have another name and/or rank.

I think this should be banned from the community, since it could be of confusion to newer members, or members not paying attention.

What do you guys think?

I really don't see what's wrong with them. Obviously it doesn't make them any more trustworthy just looking at a rank.

Well its obvious.. If in doubt, click there username, and drag it somewhere else. But I guess it would help some of the newer users.

It's just annoying as hell. It's one of those does it bother your personally issues.

I don't see it as a 'trust' issue, but it can sometimes me mis-interpreted as impostoring (made up word) a rank\mod - which is against the rules.

 

Well how could I know it was just me? I had to suggest since I have something against it. (My suggestions are not always stupid)

And yes exactly, its borderline imposterish (Another made up word)

 

It's all fun and games. No need to have a hissy fit over it. If you're jealous, just get someone to make it for you if you can't figure it out.

I could very well make one myself, I'm not stupid. If you see my other suggestions you would know so as well. I just for one thought it could be deceiving or perhaps confusing to new members that didn't know the rank system or whatever.

2. put your mouse over there avatar.
3. the avatar background is not even the same color.

i think its fine, i have yet to see one that looks like a real rank. and why does it matter even if the guy did fall for him being a master forum addict? lol.

 

Fail I made that avatar for me and Marrow now all the little faggots taking it.

It gets on my nerves. If you wanted that username, you should have created it, not add some gay avatar to change your name. I don't think you should be able to get infracted for it, but it definitely does make me rage.

 

If it bothers you so much then I have a solution for you.

Go to the top of http://sythe.org and click User CP, then click Edit Options. Once the page loads scroll down to Thread Display Options and uncheck Show Avatars. Scroll all the way down the page and click Save Changes.
