Alch aka Bogla retired?

I heard from a first hand account that he actually moved to LA to start his own pornography company. That’s LA as in Louisiana, he felt it was too saturated in Los Angeles.

I don't really care who get shutdown or stay forever xD and awesome to know his a cool guy I just wondering if his out of Jagex reach because probemas been there for more than any gold seller hehehehe. at least there are few legit gold seller out there where people can buy gold safety without getting scammed

That's quite a transition, definitively not something I would have expected.

 

No place is out of scope for a suit if they have the claims to make something stick.

 

Why are the alch banners still up if they're closed down? Isn't that risky? Sythe front page, there are two alch banners right at the top.

What are you talking about...?
There are tons of places you could be living where you wouldn't have to be even slightly concerned about a lawsuit from Jagex.
Not to mention you could simply ensure your identity never leaked and they'd have nobody to go after.

 

I don't know why you're referring to the owner being sued? A company is publicly listed with an address no matter where you incorporate. If Jagex starts a suit they go after the company, not the owner.

Because they paid for the advertisement untill next bidding.

Most site owners already got take down request emails. Basically all of them.

Not specifically but they will always go after the bigger fish and the easiest targets to make something stick. Canada is probably the country that takes IP infrigments the most serious and Alch was a Canadian based company. In Canada you can even get fined for sending out newsletters to users who didn't opt in. In short : Alch just seemed the best and easiest choice to go after. Where Jagex goes from here is anyone their guess but they're already cooking up something.

 

I’ve asked this to Andy privately already and he said possibly Alch wanted to keep them up so people are aware of them closing.

 

Alch also has a banner that says they’re closed now. I’m not sure why they didn’t update it yet.

Have you never heard of a shell company?
It's pretty easy to set everything up with an alias to the point where you could never get in trouble, ESPECIALLY in a market like RS Gold where everything is done via Bitcoin and you can literally just be invisible.

 

why would they waste their time updating and announcing shit and explaining reasoning, legit couldnt give less of a fuck and people think alch had any care for any community he was in.
