paypal donation!

ok i have been wanting to donate for a while now but why cant we just donate using paypal!!! i would be more then willing to donate if that had paypal!

 

We don't have paypal donations because idiots would claim back the money, and it would be a fuss to control. TJ used to do it, but sythe didn't like that:\, and TJ is banned anyways. Shouldn't this be on the do not suggest list?

The usage of PayPal for donations was once used but discontinued by Matthew. It may one day become available again, but for the time being the donation center will remain as is (from my understanding).

I have to admitt I have been wanting to donate but I can't with paypal. Could Sythe setup a mod or admin to take the paypal donations then mail them to there >.>

And the payment would be sent as gift or claim and cancel..

 

There would be too much risk involved for the staff.

 

Couldn't it have a post requirement or something like that to be able to use it, if it were to come into effect? It could be a good idea, and bring in a fair amount of cash for the site. It's got my support, but it should have some kind of medium-high standard to donate via paypal, to hopefully prevent charge-backs.

At the moment, chargebacks are just too common, and too much of a hassle to deal with.
