is it possible for a obby mauler or even a gmauler with little or no def to get a fire cape?

 

If you have the prayer/range, and luck, it's possible. It'll definitely be a challenge. Maybe have Skele_Master or Owain Jones from Sythe do it for you. They're extremely good.

Umm you need the protect from range prayer. You don't really need range though you could use magic I suppose but It would be a LOT harder.

 

You will need atleast 43 prayer and 50+ range.

 

43 Prayer is a minimum and sufficient range is also needed, as it's nearly impossible without it.

 

You can do it with mage, it's hella hard but I did it twice. But prayer is an absolute must.

It all depends on prayer; if it's 43+ (and I would recommend like 60 at least, in your case)

 

dont ruin ur pure for def, if u really need a fire cape, then get 43 pray and like 40+ range, try a couple of times, if u couldn't make it owain jones will.
