    COVID started a rough series of events, but I've actually gotten right back to where I was after a few months of sad stuff

    So shits going good now, I have a lot of freetime because my new job is work from home, so my only challenge now is getting my fat ass out of my computer chair a few times a day

    Pretty badass quote, not gonna lie.

    Having said that, I don't know you very well, but I've been following your reports and you do seem to have your own unique style of handling reports. I like that you go through your reports step by step, write down most of your thought process in assessing the report, and include both parties in this. Concretely, I'm fond of you addressing when you are going to discuss something with staff for instance. I think that this type of transparency is really helpful for all parties, as well as outside observers. Specifically in a place that servers as dispute regulation/arbitration.

    I'm a strong believer that misunderstandings can be sorted in conversation. The issue is making sure conversations don't fly wildly out of hand (kinda like they did in blahberrys v. virtualtrader1) since most people on the forum are pretty young and not really interested in true arbitrition.

    But I feel better about verdicts being reinforced when they're properly reasoned and explained. To me, it's worth the extra effort

    100% agree with everything you said. I know some people prefer to let these threads "bleed out", but I prefer your approach because arbitration, unlike legal procedures is usually prone to be more unclear procedurally, so it's good that you're holding the hands of both parties and taking them along with the process. It's really professional. And yes, I mainly had the blahberrys v virtualtrader1 dispute in mind.

    not for a long time, but I've been around and giving input to community stuff. Started a work from home job, and I figured I had a lot more time to give while I'm already sitting here, so I might as well give back to the community I grew up with.

    I've actually had to handle two venezuelan trader reports over the last week. I'm fluent in spanish so that helped, but it was definitely a task to translate some of our stickies lol
