[Denied] Remove DNT users access to Donor Lounge

Why do you feel that way, I am as much donor as someone else. I just got trapped in a very sad situation.

 

You can report DNT'd users still advertising in their signatures and we'll remove them.

But as long as they're not dicing, DL counts as part of the community. I don't see any issue with letting DNT'd users have access to what is essentially another Spam Forum.

 

You've got to understand maybe not all DNT user's have actually done something wrong. Some people request the rank or some people have had it for so long not always their fault. If they've donated they should have the perks they've donated for but hidden as they are now.

 

A community addition that users have paid for. Do you propose a refund when they lose that donor perk? Or are we just going to take away goods that someone has paid for?

Not all DNT cases are the same, not all people scammed or engaged in suspicious activity to get a DNT. I had a self-requested DNT for years because I was a global mod with zero presence in the market and didn't want people using my name to trade.

What you're asking for requires special cases for every DNT+Donor, and it does nothing to benefit the community, so it's not worth the work in my opinion.

 

I'm a DNT user because in 2015 someone hacked my skype and scammed someone. Even though they never requested a PM, even though I reported it hacked immediately, I still owe that person money. Since I'm not actively involved in the market, I never tried to repay the person.

So big no support for me, I did nothing wrong and shouldn't have my donator benefits removed.

 

Yeah, sorry, but no. I paid to get access to DL. This would require a lot more digging into people because not all DNT's are from scams. People request DNT's on their own. Do they deserved to have their paid-for goods taken away from them?

Sorry, just a bit too much of a headache in my opinion.

I am going to say no support. It is basically an extension of the spam forum.

 

DNT should only be banned from posting in sections that are for trading.

 

I don't believe this is necessary to implement. The replies of @I Am The RWT and @Lorenzo sum up my thoughts here. It's not a section intended for trading, simply for users to converse ideas regarding donors and basically talk about stuff similar to what is posted in the spam forum.

 

I don’t really see it as a current issue.

I would support this to keep actual DNT users out as opposed to Volunteer DNT’s. But that’s another issue..
