Eh, could go either way. While obviously hitting a woman is not a good idea because men are naturally stronger than women there are also many women out there who were raised to think it's ok to hit a man because they will not hit you back. Which is equally not ok.

In severe cases I would say yes, defend yourself to an extent, as in restrain the other person until police arrive. If it's one punch to the face then don't be a baby about it and just take it.

 

If a girl hits me i migh push her back. But I will never hit her.

Normally I’d react by naturally hitting the other person back. But this happened with my ex once and I’ve learned not to put my hands on a woman again no matter the circumstance

 

If you deem it necessary, then yes. It must be justified just like hitting anyone else. This doesn't mean that if a woman hits you and you barely feel it you should knock her out.

Example A.

You are having an argument with your partner. She punches you, but not hard. You don't feel much.

You shouldn't hit her back, probably. You are not in any danger. Punching her would escalate the situation.


Example B.

You're walking down the street. A woman comes up to you with no one else around, and punches you in the face. You tell her to stop and fuck off. She punches you again.

Go the fuck ahead, knock that bitch out. You might be in danger and using force is justifiable.

I mean it is always fine to hit someone who hits you, it's called self defense. Whether or not you actually should do it depending on circumstance. I wouldn't personally hit anyone, unless my health is being compromised by what they are doing. The grounds of "hitting a female is wrong" is sexist on the grounds that you didn't throw the first punch anyway.

Ive always been against this untill last night.

I was round at a friends and witnessed their partner (female) hurl abuse verbally, vicious.
My friend didnt rise to the occasion, just let her have her moment, she wasnt getting atemtion, so started throwing things (a cup and a small milk carton, close but not directly at my bud.

Still my mates pretty chill, just ignores her, and as a last ditch attempt to be a cunt, she spits in his face and starts pushing him about. Calling him a cheat, and reson to shout or to get a verbal attack in.

For example it was now his fault that her cup was broken because she threw it at the wall.


My mate told her to leave, and she threatens to cry rape if she was thrown out.

I honestly couldn't believe it, for the great restrain my friend showed im proud.

But if that was me (ive never ever considered hurting a woman)

I would of kicked her cunt in, its actually angering me that I didn't step in and have my friends back physically, when he just took the punches and let it happen because, he was scared of a rape threat.

It might sound awful, but i wish i could go there and bully and humiliate her the same way my friend was.

 

Depends on the situation and who the woman was. Random women punches me in the street will get knocked the fuck out.

Argument with partner, I would probably just try pin her down but if she's punching me there's only so long before she would get a nice dig back. Women crying about equal rights, will get treated equal by me.

It's not about the gender of the one assaulting you. If the person is using excessive violence you should defend yourself.

 

Why does it have to be excessive though? I would say any form of violence calls for defensive measures.
