[DENIED] Forbid bondholders to bump their threads

Bondholder threads found here: Digital Currency and Non-Game Sales

Currently bondholders are allowed to bump their threads, however in my opinion this is just a way to farm posts, considering their threads will be on the first page regardless. Reasoning staff gave to allow them for bumping their threads is to show activity - however this is meaningless, considering you should be active regardless when you're a bondholder.

I get that when you bump your thread there and it was last bumped like a hour ago you can assume the user was active, but it's not like someone would actually look at this. The majority of the users donate by clicking on the buttons on top of the website and I highly doubt anyone unexperienced would look in said section because they are looking for the bondholder threads.

My suggestion simply is to forbid bondholders to bump their threads, because it's meaningless to bump when your thread is visible at first glance already.

 

Seeing as how the user center shows when a bond holder is online, I support this.

Maybe also throw all the bond holders posts onto one thread.

 

I'll echo what @Tyler has said above, I also agree with what you said too Wortel since the user center shows when we're online. I also thought the same thing since our posts are pinned, since you can see me meming in my bump posts. I wouldn't mind a single thread with our posts

 

Add all Bond Holders into one thread, akin to the OMM one (Sythe.org Official Middleman List).

Sticky said thread in every parent market/community forum, or just in one - where each thread is currently located is not that optimal (in terms of user visibility).

Agreed that all the catch phrases in the titles at current look tacky and unprofessional - updating to the OMM structured thread resolves this as well.

Posts doesnt make you trusted so idk why we using reason *farming posts* to forbid somthing.

If someone bump their thread that means they are active either on sythe or discord [not everyone idle on sythe 24/7 which means green light wont appear for them in sythe center but they are still active on discord]

If only 1 person finds and donates to sythe trough bond holder threads thats win win situation for sythe isnt it ? More threads more clicks.

 

"Making trusted" isn't the concern here. Postfarming doesn't immediately mean it's used for becoming trusted.

The majority of users use the User Center to get in contact with bondholders.

It sure is, but there's no difference if someone bumps their thread or not, so why should they? It only clutters their thread. Also, when their thread is full of posts (e.g. immediately goes to another page than page 1 it even makes it harder for said user to donate).

 

Agree with this. It'll look much cleaner and professional compared to the current system.

 

I don’t see an issue with bumping their threads - easier to look through by who’s online last. Same as any thread on here. I do however support a formatted title as the section looks kind of all over the place.

Support. One can easily look up who was online latest. There's no need to bump your thread. If pc doesn't matter as some have stated, then there would be no other reason to bump.
