[DENIED] User Group for Bond Holders.

No support. You have a fun rank, that's all you need. This is the exact same thing that happened with the community teams, it's definitely not needed, and definitely doesn't warrant mod-esque perks.

 

It’s not needed indeed but it does make it easier to find bondholders (on Discord) therefore I support.

 

I support most all of this. I agree the should be placed above CDT. I agree they should have a discord role, however I do not believe they need their own colors on forums or discord. I agree bond holder help generate money for the site, but let's not forget bond holders take a fee. Yes the fee is for convenience or whatever, but not everyone fee's are the same. Tbh there are also some bond holders that no longer do it but still have stickys. IMO bond holders needs a new lead and/or another one. Not necessarily have access to funds, but can manage stickys and help set clearer guidelines and flat fee's across the board.

While they also generate money for themselves. Again I get it time is money. Just some bond holder fee's are way to excessive.

To clarify, sure, Discord user group I'm indifferent towards - but, most definitely not forum usergroup colours/titles/whatever.

 

Support for Discord, but i dont think a custom color on Sythe is needed.

 

What exactly does a bond holder do?

 

Have to say that I’m on the same page as sellerman. Yes to discord rank (don’t think it’s necessary, but I’m okay with it), no to forum user group type perks.

We already tried giving people different colors in the past (CDT/PR/TC) and it was a big backlash.

I'm personally not a big fan of the Discord being a big rainbow of different colors, no support.

I will support this if it replaces the $500/$1000 donor rank separation, having too many just makes it a mess and is gonna take the purpose away.
(I don't mind the $500/$1000 donor rank but I don't see a reason for it to be separated)

 

Maybe have them in a section on discord. I don't think it serves the forum well to have bond holders have the same perks moderators have

There are a few bond holders who pride themselves in having low fee's or attempting to have no fees. If people have issues with the fees certain bond holders charge they are free to go to other bond holders. As well as we are always accepting new bond holders. Just PM me with what methods you are willing to take and I can get the process started for you.

I'm not sure what you mean by "New lead" there is no head bond holder. Matthew oversees the system but is not directly involved in it.

The community teams are not on the same level of bond holders in terms of tasks and responsibilities so I don't think its fair to compare them.

And I would like to amend my previous statement about no support for color. I will support a color in discord, but not site.

 

Exactly what I was going to say. I think since CDT doesn't have it's own usergroup - bond holders shouldn't either.

 

supporting this as it'll be easier to find bond holders on discord. searching on forums for newcomers can be tedious.
