An update to the bump system

Listening to user feedback and thinking about updates that benefit the site longterm, we are making one final change. While threads may be bumped once every 4 hours, we will now allow a vouch to bump a thread every 2 hours instead. One way to do this effectively is to have customers vouch in your vouch thread as you take orders, then to quote a vouch in your thread yourself as a bump when convenient (after 2 hours have passed of course).

Here is a simple summary of the recent changes:

• Market threads can be bumped every 2 hours by customer vouches, or 4 hours manually by thread owner/employees
• Vouches in market threads ARE allowed but must be 2 hours apart from another vouch or bump
• Autobumping and other bump services are not allowed

As an additional point of news, in the near future we expect to prune new, non-vouch bump posts from threads. This will not impact anyone's current post count or number of posts in their threads up til now, that will all remain the same. More details about this will be released at a later date. This change is for improving sythe's overall SEO which is of course something everyone benefits from, and it will be done in a way so no one's business is disrupted.

After two idiotic updates I'm glad to finally see reasonable one, good job.

As long as auto bumping and bot bumps are still ban, i love it.

 

Allow us to autobump non-market threads - considering the ban on them was to help the market section.

Customer bumps at 3PM
Other customer bumps at 5PM
Can I bump at 6PM or at 9PM?

People really care too much about other peoples business. Sad.
Someone is making 1000+ posts automatically and they're ruining my post count's integrity --- little does that person know NO ONE but them cares about their thousands of posts posted. LOL
