[DENIED] Verify Ebooks and the methods in them

Problem: Everybody knows that ebooks are a hit or miss, I've sold plenty of ebooks with solid methods that lasted a good amount of time, even some fun ebooks that I wrote 10 years ago and still time to time make sale on them. The problem with ebooks is that in most cases they are misleading and false, the methods are weak or the initial investment to start up is too high for most users. Theoraticaly they may sound fine, but once put in to practical use they turn out to be trash because how little information and effort the ebook writer put in. Without a proper system to evaluate this will ofcourse increase.

Suggestion: Staff members can look upon the methods and verify the methods, initial investment, practicality of the method etc. Considering how sythe is a free market, forcing an evaluation would be against it's practice, so therefore making it optional and the writers can request their ebook to be reviewed by a staff member which will tell how good or well worth the ebook really is. Customers would obviously prefer something that has been reviewed before paying and this could potentially be a good way to curb the "full refund if it doesn't work" scam quit schemes.

 

I'd suggest adding a review template for vouch copies. It could be used by trusted members, and preferrably staff. The issue is that it'd be time consuming for them to check and review whenever a new method hits the market (and requests review).

 

I agree, I wouldn't mind a group of dedicated members who're capable of reviewing, including staff and who they delegate the task to.

 

So what you are saying is we need people who can verify guides.

All memes aside I don't think this is needed and if members want others to buy they can always give out a couple vouch copies

 

It would be more of a review which would entail verification of sorts among other things, reviewer can follow a template and review it based on a criteria. A vouch copy is something completely different, it doesn't necessarily require for the person recieving the vouch copy to be honest or detailed. So, in short the correct title would be 'reviewer', as people are seeking honesty and as little liability to the reviewer as possible.

 

As someone who was scammed by one of those fraudulent book sellers, all I can say is that if someone has a really sucessfull money making method they wouldnt be selling it for a couple bucks, all those methods sold online are already saturated, too obvious or too hard to profit with, buy them at your own risk.

And if staffs are forced to review books before being sold, I wanna be sythe mod to be millionaire kthxbye

 

True it will add workload on sythe staff, unless like I said volunteers were given positions to take the load.
